Very hard to believe that it's 20 years old it was very well maintained. I hope you enjoy your new home and have many many years of happiness in it I enjoy your videos very much and always look forward to the new ones. Thank you for allowing us viewers to be a part of your life.
I just cant believe its an older coach. Love the cabinets, counter tops, carpet well everything. Best thing ,you can move everywhere with plenty of space when the slide is in.
Wow... with everybody these days downsizing you guys actually sized up! I could never understand two people giving up a medium size coach to go live in a van. Start with a van .... sure.... but to live in one for years. .. not my cup of tea. You guys have it right. An older, quality coach you probably now own outright that you can make into whatever you like and with the room to not be constantly tripping over each other. What a find - what potential - I can hardly wait to see all the renos you do. Super congrats.
Thank you Paul. Agreed... Vans are nice for shorter trips, or one person, but can't imagine trying to live and work full time from a van long term. We are super happy with our choice and look forward to sharing the renos with you.
RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett My partner Neil and I are planning to retire to coach life and it's folks like you we follow closely. While not everyone is the same, after you've been in people's lives for a while, you can kind of figure out who's closest to you and what you want and whos taking a path you would never follow. You guys are basically living our dreams with the exception of sky diving (yikes). Feed me Seymor, feed me (Little Shop Of Horrors).
I'd never drive a monster like that and tow a vehicle behind it to boot. I'll take a camper van any day, but I like to travel and keep moving. Just the gas mileage alone and I'm way ahead. Of course, I'm a minimalist and don't need all the material things to be happy. Just a tiny house and my class B van. The less to maintain, the better!
WOW!!! Fulltiming in a 20 year old beautiful, well made coach! Lots of videos ahead for us! Mark and Julie you have our respect! Best of luck with VCC. We'll be praying for you. Brendan & Lena
Congratulations! We bought a 1991 Champion Ultrastar 28' twin bed (no slides, sleeps 6 or more accurately 2 adults and 4 kids). Acquired for an amazing price and we know both the previous owner and previous mechanic (his son) and a good friend of ours. Our 2nd time out we drove 2,500 miles from Washington to Texas. We lived full time for 9 months with 2 cats, 3 dogs, one a Great Dane. We are continuing to upgrade and modify as we go. Good luck on your continued journey with your new (to you) home. Joel and Bunny, Texas.
We absolutely love our Country Coach. You just can't beat the quality that went into these coaches. Ours is a 2006 and the wood cabinets still look as good as new. . No plastic anything in these RV's. The diesel engine and transmission make going up and down in the mountains so easy. Can't wait to see what you do with the inside by making it "your own". Maybe will give us some ideas as well. That is the fun of it, right?
You are right, these older coaches are built like a tank. I just finished renovating my 98 Monaco dynasty. New wood floor, wall, white cabinet, etc.. Love my 8.3 Cummins. Lots of power!!
Congratulations! Wise decision to purchase a quality used diesel pusher. When we went full time in 2000, we purchased a '97 U320 Foretravel with no slides and absolutely loved that coach. The one thing we had were the panagraphic doors, so no hitting your head while retrieving stuff from the storage areas. We had 2 huge joey beds as well. Country Coach and Foretravel were pretty close to each other as far as amenities go! They were both well ahead of their time and still on the road today with huge carrying capacities. Oh, we had the 450 M-11 Cummins in ours. Great decision to buy used. I would not be afraid of the miles or condition of this rig! Well done indeed!
Thank you for the compliments. Agreed.. Country Coach and Foretravel of that era are both excellent coaches. We met a couple who had purchased a Foretravel of that era new and had over 450,000 miles on it, and still loved it.
I can see about 20k in upgrades in your future with new airbags/hoses, ac's and and inverters/solar. Add that to your purchase price and you still have a better coach that you could buy new today for 3-4 times the money. I think you have hit the ball out of the park with this coach. The most fun you will have is making it "custom" fit for you. What an awesome blank canvas. So very happy for the both of you.
Thank you. You see what we see. At this price point we can do significant upgrades and have an amazing coach for a quarter of the price. Looking forward to customizing her. Thanks again.
New here!! That is A BEAUTIFUL coach!! Y'all are very blessed to have that. I LOVE the inside!! Congrats!! We have a 1992 Prevost bus/ coach. We got it at an awesome price and we love our old/new to us bus 😊 It's beautiful inside too!!
Guys, we started with a Tiffin gas coach and changed this year to a 40 ft diesel. You are gonna love the ease of refueling at truck stops and the smooth quieter drive! Cant wait to see your interior changes. Congrats!!
Thank you. Very similar path. Yes.. love how much easier it is to fill at truck stops now that we can fill with diesel. Love the improved fuel economy and range too. We used to go 500 miles on a tank of fuel. Now we can go nearly 900 miles.
It’s beautiful! With the “blank slate” you’ll be able to make it your own easily. Pre emissions is a great feature & with only 175K miles, doesn’t seem the engine would be worn out. You’re wise to live in it for a couple months to get a feel for what you’ll want to do with the interior. Very happy for you both! Enjoy the journey & wish you safe travels!
Country Coach are fantastic pushers. This unit will be on the road for many, many more years. For others looking at older coaches, don't be discouraged or run away because of old fabrics or terrible colors. As see here, the previous owner took on some updating. This can be as simple as primer and paint, new hardware, light fixtures, and new carpet. Most of the fabric is stapled on to the wood valences and surrounds. If you're not comfortable changing the fabric you can actually paint it. Just be sure to vacuum and clean all the dust off. Most of the mirrors are glued on the doors. Behind the mirrors will be the same beautiful cabinet doors found in the rest of the coach. With today's peel and stick everything you can find: real stone backsplash and accent wall tiles - peel and stick real wood planks for accent walls, headboards, fireplace surround, covering Formica shelves, creating wainscoting, etc,etc..These peel and stick real wood planks are not for use as flooring - peel and stick vinyl flooring in dozens of patterns styles and colors - and hundreds of peel and stick wall paper choices with more every day. Glass cabinet, shower doors, and mirrors can be updated with window films to create a whole new look. New faux wood blinds can be cut in-store at most home improvement big box stores. Remodeling or updating an older coach is now extremely simply and cost effective. No special tools or skills are needed. All you need is a little imagination and time to create your own home to go. Updating older coaches with a great exterior and running gear is so simple and cost effective some have turned flipping these unwanted coaches. Like Marc said, a diesel pusher is good for a few hundred to a million miles. And yes, an older coach with low miles can be an issue. As always, have any RV you're seriously considering inspected. Find you own inspector. Don't listen to the seller when they say they have a "great guy who'll give you a great price". If something happened a day into owning the new-to-you coach after his guy raised no concerns you'll kick yourself for not having it inspected at a shop you choose. Prices for an inspection range depending on how deep into the RV you want him or her to inspect. However a couple hundred bucks to point out the engine is about to go is a lot better than having to shell out $10k for a rebuilt engine a month or two later. Get out there and find an RV to suit your needs. So long as the exterior doesn't require paint (big bucks to paint an RV -$8k-$35k), no water leaking or rot, the mechanical check out, and the chassis and engine all have a clean bill of health, buy it. If you don't have the budget for an interior refit, start shopping for peel and stick everything for a fun, easy and affordable facelift to suit your individual style. Have fun! Cheers from Seattle!
OMG! I would have NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS GUESSED! Congratulations! She’s a beautiful coach! You guys are going to have so much fun indeed. I’m so happy and excited for you guys!
Looking back at your old vids. You are the BEST lady presenter of an rv I've ever seen! So thorough and relaxed. You must've done this before. NICE! ALOHA
Vintage high end coaches were built with quality in mind. We have a '98 Monaco, very similar to Country Coach in the same era. These older models don't have the bling, or problems with newer coaches. Perfect for making it yours without braking the bank.
Thanks! Glad you hear that - we really do like people to think differently outside of the 'norm' - there is NO one size fits all when it comes to RVs :)
is that color wood stain common? I have not seen it before, only seen folks who pain the standard dark wood with white paint. These are Stained and it is in my opinion much more elegant than just slathering on white paint. I also like the huge counter space in the kitchen and large frig. She did not show the shower too much but it did also look large and had a real glass door. I think it has more storage space and much more kitchen counter space than many 45 footers I have seen. I wish I could find one because to me this seems ideal and affordable too. What do you think a comparable CC would go for? Does yours also have one slide?
The white cabinets has the grain showings very thin coat of paint. The shower is very large, with glass door.Ours has 80,000 miles. Not as clean as theirs.May be available later this year for about 35,000.We are only using it a couple months a year.Their coach is a good deal, very clean.
Great that you have the same coach, even down to the white interior. We love it. Sounds like yours is very nice. Great that you have had it for 6 years. Great benefit to next owner (which might even be nicolaxoxo1. :)
Congratulations! I was totally surprised at first, but after the walk through I can see how “she” spoke to you. Can’t believe how much storage it has! It will be so much fun to watch you guys transform her into making it your own. Julie said it right, she is like a blank slate just waiting for your magic. Happy trails! 😊💞
Before we purchased our 2007 Monaco Knight, we looked at CC- they are made well. You are right, they don’t make the newer coaches like they did years ago. Really enjoyed the tour and can’t wait to see future videos!!
We bought a 1994 Country Coach Magna two years ago and agree that the quality of the cabinets is awesome along with most everything in it. we knew nothing about CC when we bought it but have learned since how great a build they are. We are only weekend campers at the moment but plan to go full time in the next year hopefully. Great find for you! I also just ordered your book yesterday and cannot wait to get it. Love your videos, enjoy CC!!! maybe we will meet you on the road someday.
Thank you, and congratulations on your CC . Great you can enjoy your coach part time, and we are excited for you and your plans to travel more extensively. See you out there!
Looks like you made a great choice...we have a 1998 Country Coach Intrigue and absolutely love it. We've upgraded the Inverter and both AC units and thermostat. We replaced both slide hydraulic cylinders and had to weld up a new battery bay floor. These old girls need a little love but they really appreciate it when you care for them. Here's hoping you two have good times making her your own.
Thanks, following your tour I found that both coaches are very much alike. Ours is the "cooks delight" model and has a different galley arrangement. We also have solid oak cabinets throughout and the wood joinery is one of the things that sold me on this coach. I replaced the bathroom Maxxair vent yesterday and will finish the Dicor sealing today. We're in the process of remodeling our home for sale and reconditioning our coach at the same time. Hope to be full-time by January. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the road. If you come through South Alabama give us a holler.
An oldie but a goodie. Such a simple way to prevent kitchen drawers from opening underway. Give me those, over those self-closing ones that never stay closed anyway. Tastefully conservative which will make it easier to update too. Looking forward to all of the upgrades and refurbishing videos. If you upgrade the backup camera, black and white models of old are actually better at displaying detail than the newer colour ones. Just change the monitor at the dash. Marc, if Julie starts to think that thinks she needs to upgrade you, just tell her that like your cummins diesel you are just broken in, with many more miles of enjoyment to be had.
Haha thanks for your comments! Especially liked your suggestion about the monitor - we do need to replace that. But definitely won't be trading Marc in! He's a keeper! :)
I have never even been inside an RV. Your post just popped up. I enjoyed this video because it is clear how pleased you both are with your new vintage CC. I am happy for you! I hope you have many delightful adventures!
I think it is beautiful. I love the white cabinets and walls. It makes it look so spacious and clean as well as light and bright inside, not dark and depressing. I think when you move in and put in your toss pillows and your other belongings, it will look more like you are used to. I love the furniture. It is looks nice and comfortable and the chair may be a recliner because it has a handle on the side like recliners have. I am so happy for you. This makes me think that an older one that is cheaper, but in good condition and still reasonable when you put on all of the things that you are going to and with your new tires and fresh fluids, it will be like brand new when you get done but a lot cheaper than a brand new one. Wishing you the best of luck with it and much happiness travelling in it.
I love your excitement and your choice. Really looking forward to the upgrade process. I truly believe that you made thousands of people believe that they can do this on their terms that would not have otherwise even tried. Good job guys
So happy for you both. I picked a 97 American Tradition w/ 8.3 Cummins with 119,00 miles. Love it and you will love yours too. Still doing little. Upgrades.
Congratulations! Welcome to The Big Boy's Club! You have definitely found one of the best made coaches ever built! A Country Coach would have been my second choice after my Beaver! Mark and Julie, That's a diesel generator that you have now! unlike what your use to with your gas generator, It wants to run! Don't be afraid to let it run all day. With your gas genny, you have to be a little conservative on their use. They tend to want regular maintenance and repair. With a diesel- it's like a stallion! it will just run flawlessly for hours! Don't worry about the length of time it's been running! And maintenance is fairly easy. mostly you will want to replace the coolant at first, maybe check the fan belt, maybe check and replace the fuel filter, and then the basic oil change. just take it in for service for an evaluation. I know a place in Phoenix if you wanted to take it in. I'm not pushing them, I just take my work trucks to them. And a quick tip: Hours are hard to understand. People talk in mileage. When someone says it's got 87,000 miles on it, people know immediately what that means. But when you say it's got 1200 hours on it, eeehhh that means what? I don't know how many hours you have on that generator; But. If you take the amount of hours you have and multiply it by say: 60, you will get an approximate Idea of the amount of MILES that engine has on it! It's a trick I learned from my Generator Service Tech here in Phoenix who services the Generators on my fleet of News Trucks I use to manage! The 60 is roughly a good measurement of drive time. basically you drive 60MPH so your converting hour H to M. and that makes it so much easier to understand how much wear the generator has on it! I Emailed you Julie about a year ago about "DreamFinders RV" using your images and a made up story to promote themselves. Since then I have found my 2000 Beaver here in Mesa and we love it! Like your "CeeCee", our Beaver was completely original and everything was in showroom quality. not a scratch or rip anywhere! I think it is a good idea you have to live in "CeeCee" for a while, wait a bit and let your magic bubble up and form a colorful plan that would make the interior uniquely yours! Are you guys still in Phoenix? We would love to meet up and say hello!
Hi Mike Thanks so much for your suggestions - a lot of great advice in there! So glad you are happy with your Beaver Coach, another quality motorhome. We are actually in Oregon right now - not sure when we will be back to Phoenix area. Do you know of any shops in Texas area? We are excited about our remodel for sure. Hope to cross paths some day!
RVLove | Marc & Julie Bennett I do Not! I'm sorry. I've spent an overwhelming majority of my time in Arizona. We still have a stix n' bricks we live in additionally of our coach. No plans to sell it anytime soon. We will be tehered here in Phoenix for the forseeable future with our jobs as I now try to wrap my head around workcamping and going mobile. I do know of your online classes and may soon be browsing your expertise, but we would be talking about a major career change, so lots to consider. I wish I did have a good suggestion for you in Texas, but that is the reason for our purchace: to travel! Wishing you the best in your new home.
That's a beautiful coach!!❤❤❤ Congratulations! Country Coach always made impressive RVs. I'm sure you will have lots of happy miles in yours! Can't wait to see how you update and modify it.
Congratulations on your new coach. Looks good. I have new to us too, a 1999 Foretravel U320 40 foot no slide and also love it. Lots of projects in the making, with new awnings, new flooring, new fabrics, reupholstering the jackknife sofa and chairs, new backup cam and side cam, new stereo system, etc. Bought ours due to the 1500 watts of solar and the 600 amp hours of victron lithium batteries the PO put in, plus all new basement, new windows, new shades... amazing how much moving parts there are in one of these. See you on the road.
I really love the light REAL wood cabinets and the curved large kitchen counter has way more counter space than many newer coaches, even the 45 footers
Office chair can fit at the desk! We have a 2005. Well built great shape. It’s neutral enough to throw pops if decor pillows . Definitely love the space, cabinets. I found laundry drop off to be great! Congratulations again. We love our A. Ours had 40,000 . Perfect. We went to look and went through and couldn’t pass on it.watch driver seat when letting slide in and out.
Country Coach is indeed a high end motorhome. I had a National Tradewinds (same parent company) for 14 years and it was very well built also. I miss that side by side fridge with ice maker. I miss the massive storage bays. I have no regrets owning it. I've downsized since traveling solo.
CeeCee is gorgeous! My Mom had a Country Coach Magna that drove like a dream as well. They were TOP quality in their day. And the fact it is a DP with under 200K and pre-DEF mean you have a super rig well worth putting $$ into upgrdes and boondocking features. She is already light, white and bright which is THE cat's meow now ;) AWESOME choice y'all! Am sooo happy for you! I sooo want to see the next journey as your tweak and tweet CeeCee's 2nd wind! Bravo!
Country Coach built one heck of a motorcoach back in the day before their bankruptcy. Looks like you found a good one. The interior remodel potential is outstanding.
Congratulations-Diesel coach’s are great-the ride is so smooth. We recently put new tires on our 39’ Excursion and a big part of such a smooth ride was checking the weight. Checking the front & total to determine the rear weight. Then adjusting the tire pressure in the coach. Huge difference in ride. The tire places usually fill up to 105 to 110 tire pressure way to much depending on weight. 🎉💕🎉
Agreed. Ride quality is significantly impacted by matching the tire pressure to the weight on the axle. We put this on a scale before driving it home and then again once loaded to make sure we have it dialed in. Thanks for sharing this tip for everyone.
Thank you. Glad you like it. Check out what we did with it in our RV Makeover series. The end result is quite amazing. Here is link to all the related posts and videos. www.rvlove.com/rv-makeover
So excited for the next chapter! CC is a great coach - loved the loo with a view! Our next coach has a roomy, split bathroom, too and I cannot WAIT for that. Plus all the wardrobe/cupboard space... Have fun with making plans!
In my comment, when you asked us to guess, wad that you were getting a diesel pusher. This sort of coach is exactly what I had in mind. I love natural wood where I can see the grain patterns. All that white paint hurts my sense of wood aesthetics, but some people prefer it. I guess it is a good thing that all of us don’t think alike. All of those mirrors make it feel brighter and more spacious. Don’t paint the mirrors! Congratulations! Enjoy! If the water pump quits, make sure you are already in the service bay when it happens, right?
Thank you. good guess. Yep.. we appreciate quality wood, but do love this white coach. the nicest wood work we have seen is on older Beaver coaches. Yep that was funny when the Tiffin water pump failed in the service bay. Fortunately.. if this one fails it is much more easily accessible to fix on my own.
I'm a longtime subscriber, but not much of a "poster".I just have to say "Wow! How lucky to have found CC!!" She (or he??) is awesome! I know that y'all will continue to have great adventures for many years to come! Congratulations!! Happy trails!!
Fantastic. I can see why you like it. It’s quite generously proportioned inside even with the slide in. Very liveable until you decide what you want to change.
Congrats guys! What a GREAT RV and BUY...OMG, you won't believe this but that's the kind of floor plan I've been looking for. You had me at One Slide out and my pet peev was not having a slide on passenger side so you could enjoy a full awning. Thanks to you guys I'll be looking for one in a year or so. Looking forward to watching what you do with her. Stay safe...
Congratulation! have Fun! We just bought our first 43 ft Tiffin Allegro M43QRP and slept in it for the first time Saturday night, we are still downsizing - can't believe how long it takes to downsize... cant wait for more videos of the updates
Congratulations on your new coach. Sounds nice. Isn't that first night amazing! Yes.. downsizing can be a long process. We look forward to sharing the updates with you
Hi from Argentina! Love to see how excited you are about this new journey... I adore the light inside, the clarity of your new home. Can't wait to see the improvements!!!!! A hugeeeeee congratulations for you
So happy for you two. She's beautiful. Water under the bridge but I wanted to tell you. I CALLED IT!!!! I made the comment to my wife "i think RVlove is going diesel". And your research was going to prove out the older models were built better. Congratulations again can't wait for future video's
Congrats on the new RV. Country Coach made TOP NOTCH RV's. You have a blank palette to modernize and upgrade and you actually might be able to make money on this one when you sell it. Do you think that parts might be difficult to find since they are no longer in business? That would be something to look into. You WILL have problems (as you already know). A future before and after video will be amazing. Looking forward to seeing the final product!
Thank you Rebel. Yes, we did look into that before buying this brand, and the parts availability is surprisingly good since Winnebago bought the brand and employs many former CC folks. We have made a few calls to their support staff and have been very happy.
That is really awesome! I’m amazed that there are white cabinets especially from around the time of 1999. Julie, can’t wait to see how you are going to decorate it. I’m sure it will be beautiful! I thought you might stay with a class A but I didn’t think you’d go older! That gives me some new ideas for my search for my RV when I retire. Thanks! Good luck!
Awesome! Isn't it cool how the right coach comes along and you just know it. It is going to be fun watching you upgrade and make it your own. I love that it is so sturdy and roomy. You are smart to live in it for a bit before doing many upgrades and as you said it is fine just as it is and you can personalize it as you go. Best Wishes
Excellent choice beautiful coach. Our purchase was a 2004 Fleetwood Discovery 39S. It had 190000 miles and didn’t scare me off. I figure I don’t need to worry about the engine or trans until I start to approach the 500000 mile mark. Think yours was a great choice.
I bought a 1999 Country Coach Intrigue last year. Country Coach sure knew how to build motorhomes back in the day. My floor plan is quite different but love having access to everything even when the slide is in. Mine was converted to golf cart batteries prior to purchase, they seem to do a nice job. I'll be installing a small (2 panel) solar array at some point. My coach has a sofa (drive side) and J-lounge (curb side), thinking of taking one out and turning the space into an office. And yes, it is a real hoot to drive.
Mark I’m glad you joined the Diesel world! I really like my Cummins and the ride on my Tiffin Phaeton 40IH! I look forward to all your upgrades..... and nice new/old Vintage CC!
Yes, not at all what I thought, but what a fantastic floor-plan, such great light and look at that storage! What fun you'll have planing the makeover! Enjoy!
Convention Oven would be my first mod. 2nd would be a step stool so you can reach the higher storage cabinets... Rest of it can wait. Enjoy the new home....
This inspired me to look at the older models. Makes great financial sense , this will allow me to customize to our needs . thanks for sharing . I have a lot of mechanical and electrical experience that will make this a great opportunity .
Great! Glad to have been able to open up the option for a number of folks. Just saw a comment earlier tonight from somebody who just bought a 99 Country Coach like ours after seeing what we did. With your mechanical and electrical experience, older coaches are even better because they are more straight forward and will be easier for you to update or repair. Made so much sense for us financially.
"Super happy" for you both!!!! What a GREAT find!! Ahhhhh..."Life is Good!". Blessing to you and your New Home. Congrats..now.. go have fun! WOW ...your gonna love that Cummins..party,party,party;-) " That's how happy you'll be." Blessings ya'll.
Congratulations! Love the light, airy and spacious look of your new home on wheels. It looks like in mint condition. I wasn’t that surprised to learn you bought a used RV, but did think you might go smaller as that seems to be the trend. Smart purchase. The very best of luck in your new and beautiful home. Sure you’re looking forward to all the fun projects and making it your own. We’ll also be looking forward to them.
We've got a lot bigger engine but we also have low sulfur diesel requirements. My wife and I hate brown interiors and went with the lighter colors like your new RV has. It makes it feel bigger. Country Coach was high-end back in 99. I think you're going to love the livability of it. 100k miles is just broke in on a diesel.
ITS BEAUTIFUL AND CRISP AND ROOMY. I WOULDNT DO A THING EXCEPT REPLACE THE BURNER COVER. LOVE THE MIRRORS AS IT GIVES SUCH A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE. CONGRATS AND HOPE YOU HAVE MANY MONTHS OF ENJOYMENT. APRIL
Just bought a 1999 Mountain Aire 38 feet last month. We love it.
Great choice. Congratulations.
Very hard to believe that it's 20 years old it was very well maintained. I hope you enjoy your new home and have many many years of happiness in it I enjoy your videos very much and always look forward to the new ones. Thank you for allowing us viewers to be a part of your life.
Thank you Willy, glad you enjoy.
I just cant believe its an older coach. Love the cabinets, counter tops, carpet well everything. Best thing ,you can move everywhere with plenty of space when the slide is in.
Yes that is a huge benefit for sure!
Wow... with everybody these days downsizing you guys actually sized up!
Congratulations Marc & Julie! Your Country Coach is a gem!
Thank you
WOW!!! Fulltiming in a 20 year old beautiful, well made coach! Lots of videos ahead for us! Mark and Julie you have our respect! Best of luck with VCC. We'll be praying for you. Brendan & Lena
Thank you for your compliments and support.
Thank you. Wow.. that is a full house with all those pets. Sounds like a nice RV
Thank you. Congrats on your Country Coach too. Great coaches. Looking forward to making it our own and sharing ideas with you. Should be really fun.
You are right, these older coaches are built like a tank. I just finished renovating my 98 Monaco dynasty. New wood floor, wall, white cabinet, etc.. Love my 8.3 Cummins. Lots of power!!
Thank you. Yes.. nice coach you have too. Sounds very similar. Enjoy
CONGRATS GUYS, COUNTRY COACHS ARE WELL BUILT!
Thank you
Congratulations! Wise decision to purchase a quality used diesel pusher. When we went full time in 2000, we purchased a '97 U320 Foretravel with no slides and absolutely loved that coach.
Thank you very much.
Wow, its really nice! Has all that white that everyone pines for today. Very bright and roomy looking.
Yes we love the white!
That is so nice, we love our 1998 Fleetwood Discovery, we have actually put 10K miles since last August. God is good!
Awesome - good for you guys! That was a great era for Fleetwood. Enjoy!
Excellent comments and ideas shared here Cameron. We totally agree. Thank you for sharing.
OMG! I would have NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS GUESSED! Congratulations! She’s a beautiful coach! You guys are going to have so much fun indeed. I’m so happy and excited for you guys!
Thank you... Yep.. big surprise. Thanks again.
Looking back at your old vids. You are the BEST lady presenter of an rv I've ever seen! So thorough and relaxed. You must've done this before. NICE! ALOHA
Thank you! 😊
Congratulations on the new coach. I hope you have a lifetime of experiences in it.
Thank you!
Vintage high end coaches were built with quality in mind. We have a '98 Monaco, very similar to Country Coach in the same era. These older models don't have the bling, or problems with newer coaches. Perfect for making it yours without braking the bank.
Indeed. So much coach for the money without the complexities, and very high quality home.
You made a great choice! We love how you always make us think outside the box!
Thanks! Glad you hear that - we really do like people to think differently outside of the 'norm' - there is NO one size fits all when it comes to RVs :)
I have that same exact coach.99 Intrigue, same color and interior.I have had mine almost 6 years. You will love it.
is that color wood stain common?
FirstDoyle LastChandler keep me in mind if you are wanting to sell, thanks
Congratulations! I was totally surprised at first, but after the walk through I can see how “she” spoke to you. Can’t believe how much storage it has! It will be so much fun to watch you guys transform her into making it your own. Julie said it right, she is like a blank slate just waiting for your magic. Happy trails! 😊💞
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the transformation with you.
Before we purchased our 2007 Monaco Knight, we looked at CC- they are made well. You are right, they don’t make the newer coaches like they did years ago. Really enjoyed the tour and can’t wait to see future videos!!
Thank you.
What a find. This is a beautiful coach. You will be happy with it.
Thank you
Looks like you made a great choice...we have a 1998 Country Coach Intrigue and absolutely love it. We've upgraded the Inverter and both AC units and thermostat. We replaced both slide hydraulic cylinders and had to weld up a new battery bay floor. These old girls need a little love but they really appreciate it when you care for them. Here's hoping you two have good times making her your own.
Thank you. congratulations on virtually the exact same coach. We see a few of those same changes for our CC. Thanks again.
Sand on the Road Hi, is yours also the white stain cabinets?
Thanks, following your tour I found that both coaches are very much alike. Ours is the "cooks delight" model and has a different galley arrangement. We also have solid oak cabinets throughout and the wood joinery is one of the things that sold me on this coach. I replaced the bathroom Maxxair vent yesterday and will finish the Dicor sealing today. We're in the process of remodeling our home for sale and reconditioning our coach at the same time. Hope to be full-time by January. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the road. If you come through South Alabama give us a holler.
BEAUTIFUL, I love the brightness and how it looks more spacious. You're right, it's well made and lightyears ahead of it's time. HUGE fan of VINTAGE.
Thank you. Agreed.
Thanks for the support and tips. We appreciate it.
Thank you.
Thank you. Yes... exactly what we have been thinking. We researched a LOT and are super happy with the path we have chosen.
I love your excitement and your choice. Really looking forward to the upgrade process. I truly believe that you made thousands of people believe that they can do this on their terms that would not have otherwise even tried. Good job guys
Thank you for your kind words. We love thinking that we have helped so many. Thanks again!
So happy for you both. I picked a 97 American Tradition w/ 8.3 Cummins with 119,00 miles. Love it and you will love yours too. Still doing little. Upgrades.
Thank you. And great choice on yours too.
Oh my Lord , we are so jelly right now. So happy for you now!!!
Thank you.
Congratulations 🍾Big shocker 🙀 Can’t wait to see the remodel 🤗
Wishing you happy trails🙏🙏🙏
Yep. We knew it would be a surprise. Looking forward to sharing the remodel with you
Love the CC Intrigue. With the Cummins too. Enjoy my friends...so happy for you.
Thank you
We are so excited for you guys!!! Congratulations on the new rig! We can't wait to see all that you do to make it your own!
Thank you!
Lots of luck and many happy miles. Look forward to seeing all your future updates .
Thank you
That's a beautiful coach!!❤❤❤ Congratulations! Country Coach always made impressive RVs. I'm sure you will have lots of happy miles in yours! Can't wait to see how you update and modify it.
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the modifications with you.
Thank you. Yours is great too. We actually think we know the person you bought that coach from. Great coach.
Congrats on the “New” coach. Country Coach is a top of the line brand. Looking forward to seeing your upgrades.
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the updates with you.
When will you be back in the Northwest?
I really love the light REAL wood cabinets and the curved large kitchen counter has way more counter space than many newer coaches, even the 45 footers
Agreed... Love the light colored real wood throughout. And yes.. the kitchen is huge for a 40' definitely larger than some of our friends with 45ers.
Glad you love yours too.
You guys hit a home run. Beautiful coach and great attitude toward upgrades. Very exciting.
Thank you
And no giant payments!! WOOT WOOT!!! Looks like folks before you updated a bit already-NICE.
Thank you. Yes.. love the affordability.
Country Coach is indeed a high end motorhome. I had a National Tradewinds (same parent company) for 14 years and it was very well built also.
I miss that side by side fridge with ice maker. I miss the massive storage bays. I have no regrets owning it. I've downsized since traveling solo.
Good for you Allen. Yes National was well built also. We just changed to a resi fridge and love it!
Bravo!
Thank you. Yes.. we think CC is awesome and look forward to many travels and making her really shine in her new life with us.
Country Coach built one heck of a motorcoach back in the day before their bankruptcy. Looks like you found a good one. The interior remodel potential is outstanding.
Very true, they had a great reputation, still do. Winnebago owns them now
Congratulations-Diesel coach’s are great-the ride is so smooth.
Love kitchen!! Like white throughout. Like floor plan a lot. So much better than all newer ones I’ve been reviewing. Wish I could have that style!!
Thank you.
Love your new ride 😍 Can definitely see in your eyes how happy you both are. Can’t wait to see what adventures your CC takes you on!
Thank you
Oh My Goodness!!! Congrats! It is beautiful. I can hardly wait to see what you two do to her. She really looks brand new!
Thank you. Yes, she looks great, but we have some exciting plans for her too.
We have 1996 Holiday Rambler DP with 130,000. Built solid. Your gonna love it!
We have some close friends with a very similar coach. Nice.
I'm a longtime subscriber, but not much of a "poster".I just have to say "Wow! How lucky to have found CC!!" She (or he??) is awesome! I know that y'all will continue to have great adventures for many years to come! Congratulations!! Happy trails!!
Thank you for your wonderful comment, and for being a longtime subscriber. Happy trails to you too.
The innovation bit is the table. What an idea!
Those coaches were a great coach and still could be. Bob Lee really wanted a great upscale coach for all. This will be fun to watch. Great job, guys.
Thank you. It really is a wonderful coach. Looking forward to sharing the updates with you.
This is terrific! It shows us that we can look for an older coach.
Thank you
CONGRATULATIONS, you are right about the open space
Thank you
Fantastic. I can see why you like it. It’s quite generously proportioned inside even with the slide in. Very liveable until you decide what you want to change.
Thank you. Yes.. very livable as is.
Thank you and wishing you success in finding yours.
BEST OF LUCK !!!! It looks really nice... You both look very happy and thats what counts.. Thanks for sharing
Thank you
Congratulation!
We look forward to sharing the updates with you
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! I love how excited you both are!!!!! ❤️
Thank you!
Wow...... Totally awesome and what a find. Can't wait for the new decor. Congratulations 🍷
Thank you.
Well done! Those coaches were built like tanks, and now you're on the other side of the depreciation bell curve :)
Thank you. Yes.. great to be on the other side of the depreciation curve.
Hi from Argentina! Love to see how excited you are about this new journey... I adore the light inside, the clarity of your new home. Can't wait to see the improvements!!!!! A hugeeeeee congratulations for you
Thank you very much.
I love it!!! Can't wait for us to show off our new coaches in Texas in October. Happy for you guys.
Yes we can't wait to see yours too!
Congratulations, you will have it looking like home in no time.
Thank you
So happy for you two. She's beautiful. Water under the bridge but I wanted to tell you. I CALLED IT!!!! I made the comment to my wife "i think RVlove is going diesel". And your research was going to prove out the older models were built better. Congratulations again can't wait for future video's
Yep.. you called it. and yes.. we agree that older models are definitely built better. Thank you.
This is not an RV, is a damn mansion! Awesome upgrade, enjoy it!
Thanks!
What a great find! Good luck and am looking forward to watch your redo!
Thanks so much!
Winnebago bought Country Coach and they still have any information about your coach and part numbers you might need.
Thanks! Good luck!
Thank you for the compliments. Glad to hear that we have given you some ideas too. Looking forward to sharing the redecorating with you.
Congratulations!!! A very wise choice...CC is quality. Love the white cabinets! Looking forward to watching your journey!!
Thank you. Yes. Very high quality coach. Looking forward to sharing the journey with you.
Great fine I'm getting ready to go full time Rving and found me a 1998 American eagle 40' too. Looking forward to see your upgrades.
Thank you. Yours is a great coach too. We looked at a few of those era American eagles.
You should have a sign on your bathroom door that says: “Loo With A View” 😄
That was my favorite line! Lollll
LOL. Glad you loved the line.
Great choice. With your eye to decor this will be a real gem. Great engine and chassis. Congrats!
Thank you. Yes.. will be an even more special coach once we make it our own.
Well done Mark and Julie. So happy for you guys.
Thank you
Best Wishes
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the upgrades with you once we get settled in.
I actually like this one way BETTER than your previous coach. Be interesting to see how you compare them as far as driving goes
We do too. This coach drives so superior i actually got a bit emotional a couple times. LOVE how it drives!
Thank you
I bought a 1999 Country Coach Intrigue last year.
Congratulations on your purchase too. Great coaches. Thank you.
Congratulations on your new coach!! I am very excited for you guys and seeing your remodel videos!! Safe Travels!!
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the remodel with you
I love it!! I’m partial to 90s models and this one is great. Looking forward to the updates, too!
It was a great era for quality coach building for sure.
Mark I’m glad you joined the Diesel world! I really like my Cummins and the ride on my Tiffin Phaeton 40IH! I look forward to all your upgrades..... and nice new/old Vintage CC!
Awesome Sam!
Yes, not at all what I thought, but what a fantastic floor-plan, such great light and look at that storage! What fun you'll have planing the makeover! Enjoy!
Thank you
Convention Oven would be my first mod. 2nd would be a step stool so you can reach the higher storage cabinets... Rest of it can wait. Enjoy the new home....
Thank you. We have the step stool, and definitely have our eye on a convection oven.
As a fellow Tiffin owner it’s sad to see you let it go but I can definitely see the potential in this new coach. Good luck and safe travels!!
Thank you. Yes... it was sad letting our Tiffin Rocky go, but we are excited about our new coach and the adventures ahead.
Thank you. Yes.. loving this coach inside, outside and drivetrain for sure.
Congrats! I hope you have fun decorating it and settling in it.
Thank you!
Thank you. Looking forward to sharing the updates with you.
Omg, so much storage. WOW.. love the real wood cabinetry.. older RVs is built so nice..
Thank you. Yes.. storage is massive in this coach.
Thank you. We love it and love the light colors too. Dark cabinets in small spaces make them feel like a cave sometimes
ITS BEAUTIFUL AND CRISP AND ROOMY. I WOULDNT DO A THING EXCEPT REPLACE THE BURNER COVER. LOVE THE MIRRORS AS IT GIVES SUCH A TOUCH OF ELEGANCE. CONGRATS AND HOPE YOU HAVE MANY MONTHS OF ENJOYMENT. APRIL
Thank you
