  • Simulation training can improve pediatric emergency care and pediatric preparedness. Sometimes, a barrier to use of simulation is the expense of simulation equipment. This is part one of a two-part series on how to create a low-cost Do-It-Yourself (DIY) model for practicing push-pull intravenous fluid administration. Part one is a review of pediatric fluid resuscitation and the push-pull technique for fluid resuscitation, presented by Dr. Ashley Foster.
