    Lol!!! I think you must have had your drill set in “hammer” action. Hammer is for drilling into cement. Set it to the “drill” setting and the ice anchor will go in a lot smoother. Sweet shelter!!! Love the walk through door.

      If it comes just like this one you will not regret it....keeps you warm with freezing temps...with a heater of course, hopefully you catch lots of fish in it!

    Just got one of these, I knew you were going to forget those door poles, I've learned from my mistakes, in very high wind of course! I also leave one anchor attached till I'm all finished with breakdown, in case something blows in!

    I have the Outback 250xd, I love it, floor measures 7'2 x 7'2 with the little added space where the door is, the floor pattern is like a diamond shape because of the door. No problem with the wind either, stakes down nicely and very warm

      I had one of these for one day and exchanged it for a fatfish 949iwith the old doors. The first trip out with the outbreak 450i the base seam came unraveled around the door. Enough for me. Plus the extra poles were a pain. It is much more flimsey than the old design and my experience was not good. Generally like Eskimo products but my experience with the outbreak 450i was a dud.

    • @snowvision4579
      @snowvision4579  2 роки тому

      It works good in the snow I have never taken it out in the rain...I'm not positive about water proof but definitely water resistant....Just make sure to dry it out when ever you make it back home before storing it for any period of time 👍👍
