dont know if you guys cares but if you are bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all the new series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf during the lockdown =)
Fun thing about the Finis Vapor, which just enforces how individual preference is very dominant, is that my roommate in college would only use this suit for breaststroke as he like the compression right above his knees.
All suits will have individual preference. That being said sometimes people think they like something specific because it felt good in one race where they smashed a PB and while being confident in a suit is huge, some suits are objectively better for almost any individual in my opinion.
I’ve heard lots of mixed things on this topic and want your opinion, should I wear a new tech suit (not in water) a few times just around their house to stretch it out? Or should I just wait until the meet to put it on?
Try it on before the meet simply to make sure it fits but once you have done that take it off and wait to race. Compression is a key feature so you don't want to "stretch it out".
Hi Sonny, another great video thanks. my son is a bit on the small side still and hopefully has a lot of growing to do. The issue we have is trying to find a good quality tech suit to fit him. He started of just using the Arena ST2 as it was the only one that would fit tightly enough, he is now in a size 26 training jammer (Funky Trunk or Speedo) but none of the Arena or Speedo smallest adult sizes fit. He has had the Arena R-Evo one before but they didnt last long and fell apart quite quickly, he has also been using the Speedo Junior Fastskins but they dont have a waistband seal (he needs this as they keep pulling down). Have you got any recommendations for us? Many Thanks in advance. Andy H PSC
get a XXS Mizuno or even the children's size. Best suits and made for kids sizes. (kids sizes are 130/140). XXS is tiny as well but smallest mens size. Get the Mizuno GX Sonic 3, 4 or 5.
Thanks soooo much dude, I'm a young swimmer but I'd like to say I'm wayyy faster than people my age. I race against guys who are 18 and I'm 13 and I still beat them and I don't even have a tech suit, and I was looking to buy one.
Great videos, thanks for making them. Legit question for you - all these tech suits are so tight - where does your junk go? I don’t mean to be rude or disrespectful, I’m just curious!
@@mguardiola I haven't unfortunately, it doesn't seem much of a discount though (I may be wrong)? I think some sizes of Mizuno GX Sonic III are currently almost as cheap at the moment (best suit on market as of 2018 by a long shot) and if you want to save some money check out my review of the Mizuno MX Sonic 02! Just some food for thought.

Hi! Im a bit of a shorter guy but quite bulky around legs and butt. So i wonder if you would say the Arena Carbon Pro would work for breaststroke?(sprinter) Considering it because i have the flex VX but it feels a bit to long for me as you say in the video. Or does the pro restrain to much movement? Or maybe helps the legs move together abit? PS my store still has the Pro's thats why im considering them. Thanks!
Try them on if it's a store? I deffo prefer the cut. The Pros are very tight but I love them for sprinting fly and free. If you want a smaller cut but more flexibility check out Speedo LZR Elite/Valor.

My son is 6’3 about 189.. his warmups are a 32… I am going with ur recommendations for the mizuno v.. I just want to make sure I get him the right size.. these sizing charts are confusing. On the mizuno site the sizes are sz, sm, med, Large. He’s a 32 waist. What would u recommend? Please help
I have questions. my waist is 63 cm but hips 77 I bought an arena Revo limited edition tech suit. there said that my size is 26 but the swimsuit was like for a 7 year old child.
Ive been thinking about buying tyr venzo tech suit, I have a waist of 29-30 and looking at the size guide a 25 matches that. So should i get the size 25 or smaller, and if so smaller what size should I get?
I find the sizes so confusing. I used Tyr Fusion 2 in size 36, and it was really big. Just as easy as putting on a normal swimsuit (could have put a football inside the suit at it would still fit.) So I bought Tyr venzo since in size 32 since people said go 2 sizes down, but I can't get it over my hips (Like Michelle Khare testing video), it even started to rip a bit in the seam for the part at the shoulder area (only tried for 5 minutes to put it on, but when it started ripping I stopped). Now I've bought a Tyr Avictor in size 34, and hope it fits when it arrives! :/
It's because no two suits are the same. For example the Fusion 2 is a much more flexible than the Venzo. Just because they are both TYR they are not similar suits at all therefore fit and sizing is completely different.
@@TheSwimsuitGuy ah, then it's really difficult to find the right size 😅 and I live in Norway, so there are no store to try any suits (and to get the suit it costs about 150 dollar in tax to get it into the country) 🙈 I really hope my new avictor will fit 😊

I’m a 32 size waist suit. I wanna order a Mizuno GX III spring model but it doesn’t have the size. It says large medium small and so on. Which size would give me the best fit for a 32
32 in training or 32 in other race brands? I wear 32 in training and a medium Mizuno. But 26 in most other brands? Can you tell me your height, waist and weight maybe?
I’m a 32 in training. I’m 6’2 and 170 pounds. I usually go for a 28 in my tech suits like my speedo lzr elite 2 and a 30 in my arena carbon. They were both from my older brother who swims. The arena was rly tight but I’m going To go for a 27-26 next time.

It's what's a lot of people in the UK call them due to Speedo naming their model the Fastskin. But actual they are "Technical Suits/Swimwear".
