- This is a new item you never knew you needed but you'll want this new item in fallout 76, a Utility Box Generator!
Why, well this video will explain all!!
900 Atoms right now but that could sooth any C.A.M.P. building pain and enable you to get those niggly things powered without all those wires!
The Below Link is for requesting items from the previous Atomic Shop Catalogue:
help.bethesda....
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED THE FUSION GENERATOR PLAN TO BUILD THE 100W UTILITY BOX GENERATOR - here's the details of where you can find it!
• You'll NEED this plan!

I bought the generator but it doesn't really work as advertised. You still need to connect your buildings with wires. Thanks for helping me waste my atoms
You only need to connect items that require wired connections, but for most items like lighting etc this is a very useful camp item. I did my best to clearly highlight this in the video and didn't advertise it otherwise. The generator also generates a huge amount of power with a tiny footprint compared to the fusion generator so cam be easily hidden in the small space of the camp build radius, plus it has a wired connection point that you can use to power the items that need wired connections.
You dont need to fork out for the entire bundle, the large fusion utility box by itself is available for the ludicrously low price of only 150 atoms!
yeah, I saw that after I had made the video, it didn't show as I had already bought the items. However, for new players they would also need to learn the fusion generator plan to use the large generator box, cheers though - appreciated 🙂
How do you buy it individually for 150? I only see the 900 atom bundle offer
You need to go into the CAMP section in the atomic shop and scroll down. The utility box fusion generator is listed separately for 150 - tbh I missed this the first time and bought the bundle wasting some caps as I prob will never use the others although the small one does stack nicely!
@@Pupum3 They must have hidden them. All 4 individual items only showed up after I bought the the suite for 900 atoms. THANKS TODD
Almost forgot after I unplug the old fusion generator from my camp and install the new one I didn't even need to hook up to the power grid to basically power everything, I thennremove a particular conduit close to the generator then no power to the cabled stuff so then I put the removed conduit back, hooked the wire to conduit to other conduits and it work again without getting hooked up to the new wireless fusion generator
Hope they add this generator again soon. Been wanting to get it.
yes I am really hoping to an update on the list of items we can request from - this is really overdue an update and not really sure why they have not yet updated it!
You can request old items ua-cam.com/video/SXD3eFLsJAA/v-deo.html
Ya I missed it so sad
Yea I been waiting a few months, and they still haven't brought it back.
It's back today!
Much better video than the others, but it still doesn't answer the question:
How and where do you get the "appropriate plan" that, in addition to 900 atoms, is required to build it?
thank you, and yes I realised that I had missed out the fusion generator plan that is required to build the large one 🤦♂️ I am actually working on a quick video showing how to get that atm 👍 I will link it to the video and in the comments as soon as I have it out.
better late than never! :-) ua-cam.com/video/_Y0dhJePzn4/v-deo.html
Well, I guess I need this in my life
Haha yep i think you do!! 😆
its not in the atomic shop but also you cant request the item in the support page. dont know if there is supposed to be a time limit until you can request items but its for sure not there now as a option to pick.
yes, it is currently unavailable but the support page list is due an update as this has not happened for quite a while and it has a lot of very old items listed. I am certain this will be addressed pretty soon esp with the influx of new players and we know what Bethesda are like for making a quick buck!! Fingers crossed!
I tried to request this too as I missed it by a few days since jumping back into the game. Unfortunately its not on the list. All we can do is hope that it will soon be added!
Love this thing. It's gonna take some time to reorganize all my CAMPs for it tho.
Tell me about it, I started a new one and gonna bury these in the floor!! Lol
Just switch it with your current generator and plug it to whatever wires you had the original plugged into. It doesn’t actually radiate an energy field. You still have to wire it to everything.
@timberwolfdan5910 but it does though?? The 100w fusion generator generates a power field that reaches the edge of your base radius.
@@GoldenGek he's right, kind of, some things still need to be wired, such as vending machines or weather changers, but it all depends what look you want. What this eliminates is the need to place connectors every few tiles to make sure everything gets radiant power. With this tho, you can run wires more esthetically rather than by necessity.
@Lordoftheapes79 Yes, i agree with that, but I don't think it's a lie etc and it is a game changer as the lighting was always a pita. It does have the ability to wire from it but the small one powers a vendor and can be easily sunk into the floor under using a floor trap etc
So wait everything else that doesn't need a cable hooked up to it will work and stuff that I still need a cable attached to it can be hooked up
Yep, pretty much. It's an amazing addition to combat one of the most clumsy parts of the building process getting the wires to work!! Now there is no need!! Also for the items that need wired power the small generator is really small and can stack so you could just use these or the small vault tec ones near whatever you need to hook up! 👍
@@GoldenGekokay I guess I get to have fun rewiring my camp after getting it
Yeah. 99 percent of the items in the game use a wire hookup so the utility generator is basically a reskinned regular generator lying about being wireless. It’s a scam.
@@GoldenGekVirtually ALL the camp items in the game require a wire.
@timberwolfdan5910 but that's why it has the connector on it. For lighting your base and for loads of the other ornamental items that need power this is an awesome addition!
Thanks Gek! That thing is a game changer!
yeah sure is - I have a few bases to remake now!! lol
How does it change anything? I still need wires and connectors
so this would activate lights, jukeboxes, etc right?
Yes anything that doesn't need a wired connection 👍
Ahhh i need this so bad and sucks it came out whileni was in another country
yeah, I am hopeful that it will get added back to either the atomic shop list or to some new plans in game that can be found/earned. It is certainly a useful item and one that a lot of people keep asking about.
What items do not work with this? I tried the missile turrets and they did not get powered. Is there any other noteworthy items that do not receive power?
so with this generator if you place it in the center of your camp you can power all non-wired items right out to the base radius plus it has 100w. All items that need to be wired will not automatically work with this.
Took your advice and now it looks like I just bought the right to find the plans. So I'm feeling a little like they ripped me off right now. Oh, I got the two low powered generators no problem. But the two that made the deal worth it costs more than advertised, if you know what I mean. And now I'm expected to scour the countryside looking for plans I already paid for with nothing to go on? Someone just tell me where the plans are so I can get this over with and get back to the fun part.
I'm not sure what you mean? If you buy the fusion box generator plan you will be able to build it in your camp, unless you don't know the plans for the normal fusion generator as you will need to know this to build any type of fusion generators. You can get this plan for cheap at Watoga but I made a follow on guide for this as a lot of people had the same issue when it first came out. 👍
@@GoldenGek I didn't know that I needed a plan for another generator to build the one I bought in the Atomic shop. It would have been nice if they let us know this before we buy it. But I'll check out Watoga as you mentioned. At least that's a starting point, so thanks for that. Where in Watoga? You might be able to tell, I'm new at this. Thanks again.
@@FlamingRobzilla no problem the game can be pretty complex and confusing on certain things and Bethesda are not very good at explaining stuff in general tbh. This is the video on where to find the plan you need : ua-cam.com/video/_Y0dhJePzn4/v-deo.htmlsi=5vpfSQWFiMU0OuMh
@@GoldenGek Thanks. I went to Watoga as you suggested and while searching for the plans I got made the Mayor. I'm truly honored but I really just want the plans for that generator. I just wish all those robots would stop killing me every time I walk two feet. Things are going to change after I level up and get some power armor, but I need to recharge the fusion cores first. Thanks again.
@@GoldenGek This short little video you did is like gold! It's exactly what I needed. Thank you so much. Bethesda should incorporate an online codex for the game, detailing all the little things you need to know to play. I'd still watch your videos though. I hope I wasn't too much of a bother. Have a great day and thanks again.
I bought the pack but it says I need to find plans to build it I’m so confused?
And this is why I made this video ua-cam.com/video/_Y0dhJePzn4/v-deo.html 🤩
These are not available to purchase from the prior items list.
Not yet, but the list is due an update I think as there is still Christmas stuff available so fingers crossed. It would make sense for them to do it soon anyway although nothing is guaranteed
Found this video after I started playing and getting into the game 1 month later and it's nowhere to be found on the Atomic shop now. Sad thing.. I was really excited to get this! This video is great but no idea how we can get this now that it's gone. :/
thanks, and yes it is sadly not available at the moment. If you bookmark this link it is the atomic shop request link for items that are not currently featured on the shop. I would expect this to have an updated list very soon so keep and eye out help.bethesda.net/#en/home/product/1129/category/14/platform1/6/subcategory/954/question/yes
@@GoldenGek Appreciated the link but they don't even have it listed to purchase on their web site.. shame too,. with this new influx of players, me included, they could have made alot off this 1 item alone.
@seabhacgra517 yes I agree, there is a lot of useful items missing from this list atm but it hasn't been updated for a long time so I'm hopeful this will be addressed soon
It's on the store now
Haha yes thanks, I put a tweet out as soon as I saw 🤩🥳
Having to find a plan to use things you pay for is so déclassé.
Yeah, the issue is that the largest one is a reskinned fusion generator basically so you'd need to be able to make a fusion generator. It should have come with the plan though as it's an easy one to acquire anyway and wouldn't have been too tricky for Bethesda to include it
Bro exactly what I thought and btw GoldernGek the normal gens do the same thing as well to non wired powered items! Lol
@@ck-rb9wn yes, they do similar but they are much larger, don't output the same power, make a load of noise and don't have the same radius as this one.
i do not want one...lol...you need a bunch......thanks always good infor well done///please like and subscribe to GG TO GET ALL HIS GREAT INFORATIVE VIDEOS
Haha go on, get one and put it at your valheim base lol
It doesn’t even work in the first place. It only works as a regular wired generator.
9 bucks for some video-game generators?
Fuck that, I'm glad this game failed.
Tbh all the items are fairly pricy but then so is Netflix, it's just about what you want to spend your money on really as there is no need to buy any of it.
