You showing putting the power values in, and explaining it more talking threw the process is. I have noticed you have been doing this more in your last10 or so videos. Keep up the great work you do
The way you start up the bike after a rebuild, the way you tweek the throttle does that help to break it in, revving it ever so lightly and at various RPMs, and then taking it out to the land and giving it all she has, from what your showing us is that the complete breakin of the engine. Thank you.
Nice clean rebuild. I see the replacement cylinder was sleeved. That’s not a bad thing for someone who wants to keep it. Rebores aren’t that expensive. Looks like a good, un messed with unit overall 👍
I've been watching your videos for about 2 months, I think your doing awesome! I also appreciate you keeping things small. From what I can tell you have roughly a two car garage you work/store equipment in. I think that's awesome!
Great vids, even if they are redundant. I liked when you took us along to get the bike where you talked the guy down to $600. Don't be afraid to haggle. They need your money more than you need their bike. Now, there's one thing you do that kills me, and you did it again in this video. How can you set that nice, clean engine onto that clump of oily, gunky mud/dirt?? I know you hit it with the power washer after ripping it around, but that specific area is nearly impossible to get fully, and you had a great opportunity while the engine was out. Take less than 5 minutes. But, I've been told I'm a clean freak...
Sounds crisp, another rebuild done the proper way! Yeah man, well if the seller pays you the right amount, why not sell it, you have enough bikes i am thinking lol. Big Up!

@richardstone5241 no we tried to ride it but couldn't the torque is to hard to balance it. But we all took turns and if was funny for us 16 and 17 year old kids playing around
Love watching his video as i learn so much. He really knows what he is doing on these bikes, ATV, and UTV. I wonder how he got these skills? Was he a motorcycle mechanic before or just learned this all on his own with lots of research and doing it over and over again. His troubleshooting skills on issues are amazing also.
I would say he learned on his own because I am a traind motorcycle mechanic and I was taught differently in some areas. However he excels in perseverance and inspiration. Also he consults the manual to figure out the questions that he has which is very brilliant. He also tests things when he puts them together. I remember putting a Kawasaki Big Horn 350 together one afternoon and picked it up to put it in the frame and a little tiny piece of the shop rag had gotten squeezed in between the case halves so I cut it off with a razor blade thinking it would be okay. Upon adding oil it started sleeping out so I spent the rest of the night until about 2:00 in the morning completely tearing the bike back apart and removing the piece of Shop rag. He does a great job in measuring the ring end gap I've seen some mechanics put bikes together and not even check. Great job Joe!

I do enjoy your videos but as a person that repairs machines as well some things never make since to me. First the used $200 cylinder can’t be honed. Its plated. You should always sent cylinder out to be replated . They will come back like new for just shy of $300 and the bore with be better than a new OEM cylinder. Powerseal is one such company. There are only I believe 3 in country and all do excellent work Next if you’re tearing down a 96 with no history and have the crankshaft out, just have it rebuilt anyway. I fully understand the up and down pull on the rod test but in reality it should be disassembled and inspected to know for sure and the issue is that the rod may indeed feel ok but a fresh top end with maximum compression can easily show just how worn the crank bearings are. Also yes, invest in a parts cleaner tank and a bead blast cabinet.
I think he's got a good program he takes time to show people how to rebuild people take time to watch they can learn something my opinion that's a good person

It took me decades before I learned that Japanese bikes don’t use Phillips screws. You need to use a JIS screwdriver.
12 ugga duggas ougata get it out with mr phillip
Vessel makes good screwdriver and are JIS
That's why all the screws a striped out. You can just grind the tip down on a phillips and make your own jis.
