If that was the impression I gave you I apologies. The song is relatively simple in terms of whats being played. The thing is though, if you break any song down it will sound simple, especially if you slow it down.
You don't want to lose respect for somebody just because what they're playing is simple. It's about creativity. You have to admit it's very creative. Each part fits perfectly.
Any more it may sound like crap.
@Clayton Skinner: I just found out the actual tempo of the song is 175bpm, not really 180.
Dont mean to bother you man, but this lesson was great i finaly got the song down perfectly to time thanks to you. i was hopeing you could do a lesson "beast and the harlot". i know the tabs and everything but you teach so well it's incredibly easy to learn

I'm really having trouble with learning the solo of beast and the harlot. I have most the song down but I really wanted to know if you could do that song. It's not very hard so it shouldn't take long but you're a great teacher so I was hoping you would do it soon.
I'm new to drumming. Why are you holding the stick with your left hand differently?
He uses the traditional grip whereas he holds the stick just like so with his left hand.
Its just a style, used most in jazz. you can hold your sticks like usually
thanks is should help me play better and not be sloppy because i dont really know how to count well i play by ear but this will help i mean i know the beat but i am sloppy on a few parts. i should start using my metrodome.

No need to apologize I think it's actually the way I wondered that I didn't really loose respect it was just like that has always been an extremely difficult song for me and I found it surprising that it was that much simpler.
I actually have to song reccomemdations though.

I may be new to this but is it possible that you can go over the beat for the chorus I don't think you covered it in this video

I will eventually, like Nightmare it will eventually be covered. The tricky part is I have to learn the songs myself.

Yeah I just lost a lot of respect for the Rev. When you listen to it he sounds like he's going crazy but when you show the video it's the most simple song in the world
