    Any substitute for egg white???

    • @GetCookingNow
      @GetCookingNow  11 місяців тому

      DrJagdishGohil, egg white is used in this recipe as a binder, we haven't tried this recipe without egg white. But adding a little water instead of egg white may be an option. But you will not get the same consistency dough as compared to using the egg white. However there are no cook recipes for Marzipan which do not use egg white. We may have that recipe next year.

    What kind of pan is it? Aluminum? Steel? Can non stick do🧐

    • @GetCookingNow
      @GetCookingNow  11 днів тому +1

      Daphne, We have used a thick bottom steel pan. But you can also use a non-stick pan. It will be easier to make the Marzipan in a non-stick pan as the contents will not easily stick or burn in the pan 🙂

    Hello, could I use Almond powder? What can I use to substitute for the Rose water. I do have pure Almond essence. Thank you. Good night...it's past midnight here.

      @GetCookingNow  Рік тому

      Dee Dee Lawrence, yes you can definitely use almond powder. You can use normal water in the same quantity instead of Rose water. You can add a couple of drops of Almond essence in the same water. Do let me know how it turns out! Awaiting your feedback. Good night 🙂

      Thelma, agree we you that it is not a typical Goan sweet like Doce, Bebinca or Dodol. But in Bombay most Goans make it for Christmas & now it's also getting popular in Goa.
