  • In this instructional video, we guide viewers through the process of uploading data to the UCSC Genome Browser. Using bedgraph ChIP-Seq data as our example, we demonstrate how to efficiently upload local data to the browser, enabling the visualization of ChIP-Seq data. This step-by-step tutorial is designed for researchers, students, and anyone interested in genomics, providing them with the necessary tools to enhance their data analysis and research capabilities.

What is the format of the bedgraph data?

The format of the bedgraph file used in the example is tab delimited: "chr, start, end, normalized density". The file should also have a header. The following link describes the bedgraph format:
      genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bedgraph.html
A simple header such as "track type=bedGraph name=track_label description=center_label" works well.
