Today we discuss the new proposed plans for a flat ride Alton Towers have submitted to Staffordshire Moorlands - Code named "Project Ocean". We talk about the potential return of a fan favourite "Ripsaw" and how it's return could look like at the park!

Judging by how faithful they've been with the entire area, (even bringing back the arcade no one wanted)... Id say it's almost certainly coming back.
Would be really funny if it wasn't though, especially since even Sub-Terra returned. Hahaha
That begs the question, which would you choose if you could only have 1 ride back… Sub-Terra or Ripsaw 🤔
@@Coaster_Rob Good question… I was lucky enough to ride sub-terra before it closed in 2015. But I never actually thought it would ever come back. Haha
There are other topspin’s in the world I can try out, so I’d say Sub-Terra was definitely more of a miss for me.

Blade always had the yellow and black it was just faded. They probably added the yellow on the side of the building to make it look better, and not bland.
No chance, top spins are heavy machines, judging by the sizes and and specifications of an ABC tourbillion it could possibly be one of them as they were designed to be lightweight compared to a top spin

Id love it, if Sub Terra got updated ti show huge machinery cutting into the Phalanx.
Blade could get a repaint, along with new Ripsaw.
Below the Ripsaw ride, there could be huge black veiny tentacles, that squirt blood (red, blue or green died water) at the riders.
We should probably wait for more news and confirmation
My back story theory could be
The phalanx lost complete control of nemesis, so they had to bring in this machine to try and take back power but this doesn't work and there are tentacles wrapping around the side and more themeing to make it look as if it's been take over by nemesis again
Nope, although yes the final hight is the same but ripsaw was on ground level project ocean is 4m off the ground Also it's not in the site of Olde ripsaw.
I don’t know if I like them doing yellow and black for potentially ripsaw or any rides in that area, just because it’s kind of leaning into the smilers turf a bit, which is a pretty big part of its identity
I wish they made the forbidden valley theming a bit more scary. By having more flesh built onto fences and eyes and teeth/claws everywhere.
I think they had a to find a good mix so a bigger age group can enjoy it, but I’d welcome a bit scarier theming!

I always thought project ocean would act as a sort of entrance portal into a rethemed oasis area around Galactica. Probably bringing back Air along with this and making it a true tropical paradise at the other end of Forbidden Valley. I love this idea, but I just thought the entrance portal idea made more sense and would give Galactica an area it would actually fit in ya know
This was my initial thought too when the plans were released! However with a bit more time and thought since Nemesis’ re-opening I’m leaning more towards more of a complete area rather than breaking it off! However I’d love to be wrong as I’d love to see air back in its original state!

extremely underrated channel, thought your galactica concepts were amazing and this tops it. would love to see more of a concept focus on future attractions/theming

What if the drill that used to be at the top of the area is worked into the re-theme of Ripsaw?... Would work in terms of storyline and add some cool theming elements to Ripsaw 2.0.
It would definitely look cool! Similar to how they have used broken parts of the old drill in Nemesis Reborn's new queue line!

I have never ridden a huss topspin which is frustrating because I would have done Rameses Revenge if there wasn't a powercut just before joining the queue
That’s a shame, we use to be lucky and have one at Chessington and Towers but we’re down to none! I really enjoyed them!
Love the videos man, no hate at all - but every time you cut to you after a screenshot you jolt you hands out in like with your shoulders. Try holding the mic instead.
