How can you be a biochemist and then say something stupid like this lol " I think caffeine increases your performance, but not really your muscle gains" an increase to your performance is an increase to your muscle gain, it's why all pre workouts are loaded with the stuff as it gives you extra energy to be able to go harder in your gym session aka more gains, you also don't need to drink it, theres pills too

The fat-burners and other supplements being touted on late-night infomercials are often full of hype, which is why you should read online reviews carefully before you buy. Taking one supplement isn't likely to make a huge difference, anyway. What does matter is improving your diet and exercise habits overall so that you burn more calories throughout your day. When it comes down to fat loss and muscle gain, taking a pill doesn't really work miracles-the real miracle worker is your body. And that's what these supplements are supposed to help maximize: not just weight loss but all of your body's natural processes in regards to fat burning and muscle growth.* *Always consult with a doctor or physician before starting any type of supplementation routine.
I’ve never gotten a straight answer on how much protein I need to build muscle. I am 5’8, weigh 135lb, male. I usually get around 90-100 grams a day. Is this enough?
1.8 - 2.2 grams per kg of bw seems to be best rule of thumb from research on this topic. You're just shy of 61kg so about 110-135 grams per day is recommended. Though I always shoot for the higher end because it can't hurt.
I’d recommend going for the size you’re wanting. I’m 180 rn, but I’m aiming for 200+. 210-220g of protein a day is what I want to strive for as a regular assumption rate.
Cool videos as always! But... Side effects of all supplements mentioned are often ignored, side effects in general are often overlooked. Just because it's natural or simple or even naturally occurring within us doesn't mean it's without side effects especially upon supplementing. Do not go into anything without first knowing all possible side effects and then as you carefully transition into supplemention monitor the changes you experience or at least try to have a higher sense of physical and emotional self awareness. Caffeine is often recommended as something to avoid for those looking to improve health. If your experiencing fatigue then perhaps you're not hydrating, eating, sleeping or even breathing properly and if all these basics are met then perhaps the fatigue is based upon a different underlying condition that could be exasperated negatively through med-high caffeine consumption... Wishing everyone the best, good health and happiness! Hope you all stay safe and never stop learning. Luckily Jeremy is trying to help us free of charge lol thanks man✌🏻

The findings of the study have never been replicated so there’s nothing to suggest that creatine does increase DHT or make you lose hair. Nothing to worry about especially if none of the men in your family have lost their hair early on (this is all from memory, search YT if you’d like more details)
No studies to prove that since creatine is made of 3 amino acids, why the hell would it cause hair loss? Bodybuilders lose hair because they use steroids like Tren which cause hair loss. Also going into a big caloric deficit can cause Hypothyroidism which results in hair loss.

Honestly, I eat creatine, whey protein, and a t booster. 70% of my protein comes from food, seafood, chicken, peanuts among other things. I eat healthy. And I get all the gains I want. It's amazing how much of a change your body will go through when you eat healthy and workout.
I started a very similar routine 2.5 months ago, also take BCAA’s. Have been amazed at how quickly I’ve seen results. Always been in good shape as a runner, but wanted to start building muscle. 60-120minutes a day of exercise. Makes a huge difference

I'm a biochemist and I can just agree on these! Especially beta-alanin has a great impact. I also had a look on the positive effects of caffeine, but in my opinion you have to drink really a lot if you want to see any results. I think caffeine increases your performance, but not really your muscle gains.
Very informative video & great animations!
Greetings Vitality
How can you be a biochemist and then say something stupid like this lol " I think caffeine increases your performance, but not really your muscle gains" an increase to your performance is an increase to your muscle gain, it's why all pre workouts are loaded with the stuff as it gives you extra energy to be able to go harder in your gym session aka more gains, you also don't need to drink it, theres pills too
@@TheKruxed stfu and respect his opinion, just because he's a biochemist it doesn't mean that he is always right, and in this case it's probably u that are wrong about this. Performance and muscle gains aren't the same thing as performance is based on energy and muscle gains is based on consistency and variety of workouts.
@@TheKruxed listen to me, first of all there is no need to be like little cry baby and writing in that manner. Secondly its OBVIOUS that a better performance leada to more gains, but I reffer to the effects of caffeine itself! So calm your balls and continue playing Minecraft

Actually you use ATP-PC which breaks down to ATP then to ADP.
the best method for gaining muscle is to make sure to keep creating progressive overload. every month or less, keep increasing the intensity when you are able to handle it. this is to keep it simple and easy for anyone to understand, progressive overload builds muscle over time. You also want to make sure you are performing each exercise with a good technique and contracting a much as possible. and of course, your nutrition is important.

Get creatine HCL, the first guy is talking about monohydrate. With creatine pills you can take 5 pills and it'll still be below the optimal dosage. HCL completely dissolves in liquid and has a much smaller serving size to have the same effect
Creatine monohydrate. Has no taste and mixes well with water, it is the cheapest, and works just as well as all the fancy formulations.

Do one with Dr. Stoppani
These are exactly the supplements I use! I also experiment with Taurine, however.
Don't you think that their is enough Taurin in meat, dairy and eggs already tho?
@@mikeyvesperlick6982 Not if you are doing medium intensive workouts for long periods of time such as cycling and swimming. Kind of like with Creatine, there is a lot in meat, but it's not enough if you are doing intense activities.

1.8 - 2.2 grams per kg of bw seems to be best rule of thumb from research on this topic. You're just shy of 61kg so about 110-135 grams per day is recommended. Though I always shoot for the higher end because it can't hurt.
