Currently in my last year of A-levels and entering university to do Law in October. Just discovered this channel and I love it so much! I’m trying to look for summer work experience (so I can build up my legal cv early) and I’m finding it really difficult. Any tips?
Hi Tolani, the best thing you can do is target smaller firms that perhaps don't have as many people asking for work experience. The placement will be just as valid as a large firm but will likely be a lot easier to obtain. I just googled local firms and found the managing Partner and wrote him/her a letter explaining my situation and why I wanted experience in their particular firm and I was lucky on a few occasions!
