@@RightHandElf while it is 100% true that narratively the good guy would win, I do like that this show often ends with Becky getting the short end of the stick, like she doesn't get rewarded just because she's the main character like other shows often do, Scoops gives his special valentine to Violet, Violet wins class president over Becky, Becky doesn't get the playground named after her etc. I can appreciate a children's show that is willing to give their main character a technically good ending but not necessarily the one they want
@@pina_nina_fresa If I remember correctly, things don't always work out for Wordgirl either. Doesn't she usually face a lot of scorn from the public whenever she defeats that yarn grandma or the spoiled kid (I forgot their names)?

@@bloodred255 Well, brick by brick counts because it makes sense saying that a building has so many bricks and when it's demolished, bricks scattered everywhere.

Tobey likes Wordgirl because he believes her to be the only person his age who is smart enough to be his girlfriend and he also wants to prove that he is smarter than her. Destroying the city is usually just a means for him to get her attention.
@@nikosrnec3193 yeah, but that is Wordgirl. I'm referring to Becky as herself. If he asks if she is Wordgirl, of course she's gonna deny her alter ago. Thank you mr/ms engrish techer.
But one was a verb and the other was an adjective?
@@Emu- I'm afraid the second taste was indeed a noun. Bitter would be the adjective.
@@Emu- adjective describes a noun
This got me thinking of what it would be like if Becky had Tobey's role and vice versa.
Diegetically: the city would be gone.
Narratively: Tobey would win because he's the good guy.

I didn't even notice that it was him until the camping episode, when he switched to his normal voice for one scene.
Not sure whether that word usage was tasteless or not tasteful enough

They had writers from family guy in this show so Wordgirl is basically PBSKids Gravity Falls
