Thanks for the breakdown Beki. It would be nice if Vectric offered a discount for upgrading or even occasionally offered a price cut to "entice" users to upgrade.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on this video, we appreciate your feedback, I'm afraid we don't offer discounts on our software. In an effort to ensure all of our pricing remains consistent and fair to all of our customers, we do not offer discounts at any time. We pride ourselves on ensuring you only purchase the products you need. We don't penalise our customers for starting with our introductory package and working their way up. This is why we offer everyone the option to upgrade to the next product by just simply paying the difference. On top of that minor updates are always free to anyone who has the same major version (e.g V11.5 will be free to all owners of V11.0 software). I hope this helps, have a great day.
I'm very happy with Cut2D Desktop. Their software is one of the reasons that I am buying a Shark 110 - because I know that the software's compatible, and I like the software already.
Did Vectric ever fix the UI inconsistencies with the context menu? Last I checked, right-click was totally unpredictable: sometimes you get the menu, other times it exits the current tool, etc.
Hey Peter, this isn't something that we are aware of or have experienced. We would be really grateful if you could help us understand this issue more, would you mind dropping us a message to support@vectric.com so that we can investigate this further please? Thank you, and thanks for taking the time to comment today.
Good explanation of the different tiers Beki. As a former graphic designer that’s been on Macs for over 20 years, I’d love a Mac version. Currently I run it on Parallels but would rather not have to depend on a PC or the added cost of Windows OS. Just a thought for the future especially with the new M1 Mac platform proving to be so capable. A Mac OS version would definitely make the price of Aspire easier for users such as myself.
Hey Robert thank you for taking the time to comment on this video. 😊 We understand that restricting our software to a windows only platform can be somewhat of a nuisance for non windows users, we're always looking for ways to improve our products and services, so your feedback is appreciated and noted! Thank you, have a great day!
If I understand correctly, VCarve is able to import/use STL and OBJ files, but doesn’t allow editing or creating 3D models? If that’s correct, is it true for both the Desktop and Pro versions? Thanks!
Hello... you are correct, but there is one thing you are missing. You can only import in one 3rd party model per job, but as many .V3M's from Design and Make as you like.
I'm confused about the trial and price of Cut2D. The cost of Cut2D desktop is $149 but it says unlimited trial software. So why would one pay for the software if there's no limit how long you can use the free software?
Hey, our pricing is for a one of purchase. Once you have bought the software you own it. We do offer annual updates which are purchasable if you are not entitled to a free upgrade, but they are optional upgrades if you feel the new features and enhancements will benefit your workflows. I hope that helps.
Hi Chris, thanks for taking the time to comment on our video. We're always looking for ways to improve our products and services, so your feedback is appreciated. Is there a particular theme or style of 3D models you would find more appealing? Thanks

Thank you, Beki! I will certainly be sharing this video when I'm asked about this.
Thank you Mark 😊

Hello, Jim... thanks for the great comment! We are so glad you are enjoying Cut2D!

Is it necessary to have a 5-axis CNC for these programs? Also would 5-axis machines have a better finish, have there been tests done? Thanks
Nope... these are all for 3 axis machines. We don't support 5 axis... 4 if you have a rotary.

Looking forward to really getting into the software 😀 but loving it so far 👌
That's great to hear! We can't wait to see what you create with it 🤩
Thank you for the summary Beki good summary but may be a little too generic for some. But, I will be sharing this with people I interface with.
Thank you Rob 😊

Hi there, you cannot save toolpaths or perform some 'Export' functions within the free trial! Hope this helps.
@@vectric got it. if you're cutting the same paths over and over, not saving could be very annoying.
The prices are for a lifetime subscription right ?

great products
Thank you!
The clip art is so out-dated that most of it has little appeal.
