Not sure I understood the limitation of using the AC confort along with the Truma heater sysem (D or DE) ? If you have both system I understand that they will be both connected to the inet X and so will work together. What you mentionned is using the AC to cool off (say warm day outside) and wanting warm water (take a shower) and that would be impossible ? How is that ?
Hi you are correct they will both work together through the Inet X, but you can also ruin them independently through the Inet X, So you get the best of both worlds, Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting, Happy Camping. James
Hi james very informative video we recently hade the Truma aventa fitted no inet x though so use the remote control and looking fwd to using it next summer 👍😀
Thank you Ken, how do you find the remote, i would be interested in how you get on with it when you use it next summer. Thanks for watching & Happy Camping James
Hi James, Looks a good system. I would have AC but don’t have the available payload. Do the instructions tell you to switch the unit on and run for so long at regular intervals through the winter ? I’m thinking of vehicle air con where the refrigerant / refrigerant oil requires circulation to keep internal seals in good condition. Unless the system components / joints are set up different to a vehicle. Cheers, Rob
Hi Rob, We did upgrade the weight plate and got another 96 Kilo's Which helped account for the Quad Mover and AC unit. Good Point, no the instructions do not give advise, for running at times in winter months. I wonder if they are designed slightly different from Vehicle Air Con Units
I also had the weight upgrade when we bought the caravan but it’s still not enough for the extra equipment I would like. Something for me to look into when the time comes to change the caravan…..
Hi Chris, Thanks for commenting, and a valid point you make, The majority of the AC units use is in France, and if we did not go to France, I am not sure I would have had it fitted. The Majority of the vans over there had AC units fitted. Maybe the French will add meters or increase pitch prices, or it is just the accepted norm. Happy Camping. James
Hi, No problems at all. it is almost inaudible from the outside. I have been really pleased with it. we are in France at the moment with temperatures of 36 deg plus, and the Aircon is performing quietly and effectively.😁

Great vid, what is the wattage of it?
Hi Thank you, its 2400w , hope that helps. James
@@CaravanEscapades101 thank you 🙏
Sounds great but can’t help but feel that this will drive more sites to metered electric. At UK prices AC can consume £10 per 24hrs in higher temps.
