I have the OG Scorpion. It was $300 less than the Himiway when I bought it for $1399. Himiway I’d prettier, but I’d take the bigger battery of the Scorpion. Not comfortable with the way the shocks look on the Himiway. Both are fine. There were a few that I looked at and I took the best value that was offered when I bought it. There isn’t a single one on the market that ticks all the boxes for me. If I could afford it, I’d start my own e-bike company

336 miles,brand new, I babyed this thing. Then all of a sudden the throttle starts to sputtering around 30mph, but the pedal assist still works and I start to get the #4 error. Before I get home the #30 errors pops up. I get hone look at all connections. Everything is perfect. I never got it wet, never jumped it, never abused it. So I keep trying it out in the driveway, hoping to get it working, but the pedal assist won't even work now, then I get the #12 error then I got nothing. No power no screen no headlight, just the brake light. I call support and they hung up on me three times lied to me and never helped me. The next day I went out to play around with it, and now it powers on but no throttle no assist and when I try to pedal it the screen flickers on and off. What fucking 🍋. I am homicidal after this. What nerve, DO LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. For all who do know, This is a JUICED ebike hyperscrambler 2. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SHIT!!

My only issue is that I also like to get some excercise with pedaling and am 5'11" so am wondering if there is any way to raise the seat for better ergonomics and pedaling rather than having to bend the knees so much. Any ideas about leg extension ?

Good caparison however for a street rider, replacing the off-road tires on the Escape would somewhat even out the price point. Himiway Escape like the Ford model "T", any color you want as long as it is black (which just happens to be the worst possible color when the temperatures are above 100 degrees in the shade).

Not really, the Europe version of the himiway looks similar but only has 1/3 the power with a 250w motor. It will be nothing like the 750w bike reviewed here. Perhaps you can add an aftermarket and more powerful controller (and void the warranty) to get more power out of the EU version. You may want to research if the hub motor on the EU version is able to safely and reliably handle more power though, it is not likely to be the same motor as on the US version. Also do not believe the reviews on the EU Himiway website, all those reviews are from USA purchasers riding the 750w version bike. The 250w bike will have only 1/3 the power, and if those reviewers rode both bikes they would all HATE the EU version.
When i asked the company they responded as the power of the motor is 750w but with a legal limit which i can set it out for off roads actually. So probably i should trust explanation from the company?
If true that would be great, I know Rad bikes uses a completely different motor and controller on their EU models. I would wait for someone to review the EU version of the Escape and verify that the motor is in fact the same as the 750w US version, and that the controller allows you to increase power to attain the 750w level without the need to buy a new controller and void the warranty. Another interesting bike is the Ariel Rider X Class, I wish they would sell that bike in the EU too. Anyway hopefully it is the same bike as the 750w version being sold in the US but with just a lower street setting being used!

@@yetkinturgul3970 Yes, the cheaper 48v version x class looks nice too, especially for the price. I am not sure if the 48v model has all metal gears like in the 52v. It appears to be lighter than the Himiway too, perhaps because it has spokes rather than cast wheels. I just watched a video of someone checking the range on the Himiway escape, he rode around at 20mph using just throttle and he only got about 15 miles, although it was only 40F outside at the time too. I believe the x class bikes get better range. I did write Himiway Europe and I asked if the motor was the same on on the EU and USA bikes. They did not answer the question exactly, but they did say that there is a setting that will unlock 750w of power on the EU model. It is possible that both versions have the same motor which is nice, but only 15 miles of range is not great and seems low. Perhaps someone else knows of a better range test for the Himiway Escape?
I have both.....the scorpion X rides much smoother than the escape....the escape seams more powerful due to the default programing in the controller being set to max power at start which at times is a bit too much and almost startles the rider ..i have since adjusted the settings for a softer start and is much more ridable at the end of the day I think the higher price of the Juiced bike is worth every penny and more
You should have compared it with the Scorpion X..since Escape possibly wrre designed yo Trump Scorpion. I do agree that Escape looks sleeker but Scorpiin bigger battery... with all things equal should give better range as well as with a higher gear ratio. If you maintained the same speed and conditions over the same route you can verify not guess range comparisons. But you know thst...

I purchased this bike 1yr ago and I would not recommend it. After 14 months it broke due to electric component failure. Im an avonics specalist with a major airline and so have training and experiance working with electrical components and systems. This is build with cheap parts in China. Specifically the battery terminals and connections are unsafe and will burn which is a mjor safety concern. Mine bike failed and Juiced bikes was even aware of the manufacturing flaw but took no steps to fix it. Please see other youtube videos documenting this dangerous issue.
You forgot to mention the tax on the Scorpion $2,000 plus almost $200 tax the Escape is $1699 total including tax. So it almost $500 difference.

I haven't seen the seat riser yet available, that is the only option I can think of.
Most Chinese Ebikes (as well as regular bicycles, scooters and motorcycles)
are designed for short people rather than full grown adults.

Wow, I had no idea, I have the Escape and still runs with no issues, I only tested the scorpion.
