We need to get more people attending the Rally with or with out a bike to keep this event running. I have always enjoyed the event and a good place to pick up parts. Need more people to join the club.
The hood over the headlight was introduced in 1956. I had a new 1955 350cc Red Hunter (XRA632) which cost GBP 186. At the time, my father had a 1948 350cc Ariel Hunter with girder forks (HNN481). I later traded my bike for a 1955 650cc Huntmaster which had the same frame and running gear as the 350cc. Sorry, I can't remember its plate number .All the bikes were very easy to maintain and service and were very reliable. I emigrated to NZ in 1962 and had to leave my bike behind as we were limited for space for our belongings. In those days we had a six weeks voyage via Cape Town, the Indian Ocean and the Australian coast., instead of one or two days by air.
Very special people who make up the Moto Club Universal of the most historic English brand manufacturer of bicycles, sewing machines and very special motorcycles. There are views to the creation of the wire rim (spoked wheel) and the first motorized tricycles and quadricycles in vehicular history. I was able to observe in these beautiful encounters where camaraderie flows, that with each passing year the gray hair, the canes appear everywhere and some of the notable companions disappeared in the curve of life. And consider that there are "ARIEL" companions scattered all over the world at all times. However, this number, once remarkable, has been decreasing year after year, diminishing the wonderful glow of yesteryear. before we ourselves disappear from the world full of vibrant energy that of "Motorcycles", we need to catalog through specialists in English vehicular history English specialists. Members spread all over the world, even those who lost their "Ariel Motorcycles" for the most diverse reasons , but who nevertheless regret it with each passing day. If for economic reasons, especially now in these times of post universal pandemic, where prices of everything have had an unstructured and out of control rise, we can sign, through English specialists, the names of all as well as their motorcycles, models and year of manufacture , in an online system, at least with dedicated servers on weekends, considering the time zones, where we can communicate, we have the pleasure of being able to investigate problems outside the purview of the motorcycle clubs which prevent our entry into the motorcycling riches of yesteryear, without realizing that we nostalgic motorcyclists are a class in accelerated disappearance. All these limitations to which many organizations submit us, in a time that is not distant, will disappear in the passage of time, so that nothing can be recovered and everything that represents the magical name "ARIEL" is extinguished.
That super rare Egli style framed Healey 1000/4 was a surprise. Nice collection of bikes. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful bikes. There was at least one of those Red Hunters that I would happily wait in for while it was delivered.
Krasne stroje❤
Its lovely to see bikes that the owners actually ride.

@@EngtecTrials I'm a member but the rally is always too far away or I'm snowed under with work. I'll commit to attend in 24 wherever the rally is.
