My dad had CBD. It was so sad to see him deteriorate over 4 years until death. I almost felt relief when he passed as he was no longer suffering. my heart goes out to everyone who is affected by this disease.
My father was diagnosed with CBD, it’s been 15 years now! He’s 83 years old, his Neurologist said that he’s never known anyone live this long. My fathers now in the end stages. Thank you for sharing your story.
My sister in her early 40s was diagnosed with CDB and she has had it just over 3 years now. First signs of it were her tripping over all the time and her speech slurring. Within a year she was in a wheel chair, and had lost the ability to speak all together. She could still move her arms tho and communicated to us by writing out messages on her cell phone. Now she has lost the ability to move her arms and her body is rigid constantly. She needs a eye tracking computer to talk for her, she has to be fed through a stomach peg and has 24/7 care. Its amazing how quick it progressed through her compared to older people.
