If you research “garage” it’s a completely different genre of music but is still very much alive even though it finished easy 15 years ago, in the UK we have a whole festival for it called “garage nation”. But the Beats change to grime beats. Honestly if you dig deep and done research you’d really understand a lot more. And the last beat was “jungle” which drum and bass was born from!
