Spicy Roasted Red Pepper alla Vodka MUKBANG with Giant Fusilli!

- Today, we're using the super awesome giant fusilli again (aka Colonne Pompei) to make a spicy roasted red pepper alla vodka pasta! Turned out really good, can't wait to elaborate a bit more on this next time. Maybe a combo of roasted peppers and tomatoes? Add sausage?! I think so!
How I did it:
1. Melt a couple tbsp butter in a pan, then added a couple tbsp calabrian chili pepper paste and sauteed for a minute or so.
2. Add the vodka, about 1/4 to 1/2 cup and simmer until the alcohol has cooked off (won't be able to smell the sharpness from the alcohol anymore).
3. Add pureed roasted peppers (use food processor or hand blender) and season with salt and add a couple tbsp white balsamic vinegar.
4. Once at a simmer, add a 1/2 cup heavy cream, season again. Then add a few tbsp fresh minced garlic and stir to comine.
5. Add pasta of choice (linked the pasta I used below) and cook for another minute. Make sure to boil your pasta for a minute less than the al dente directions and reserve some starchy pasta water to add to your sauce, which you will most likely need to do, and you'll need more for heating up any leftovers.

@@normalaverage3328 exactly why I asked. I would love to know if she does workout a lot or what is her process physically and mentally it's not easy to just consume large portion of food. The best part is that she cooks her meals. For the most mukbang videos I have seen are average or overweight. She is the most fit person I have found and best clean editing video.

You’re right this would be good with sausage! I love sausage with tomato sauce & pasta. With some pecorino Romano. That’s my go to dinner when family comes over. A little garlic bread and a fresh mozz salad. Delish!

You can just omit the alcohol entirely and it’ll be delicious! The alcohol cooks off here though, in case you’re worried about feelin 🤪🙃

Very nice twist to the original. I have come to use fruit liquors (pear, apple etc., same percentage of alcohol) instead of vodka in all pasta recipes where it is required - the result is even more flavorfull!
What do you pair together? Like is there a certain fruit flavor you use with tomato sauce vs an alfredo? I want to try it if you have a good suggestion!
@@kutenpretty9891 I am writing from Germany, not sure if you have the same products available where you are living. If a recipe calls for vodka in a fruity tomato environment, I would typically use a liquor that is fruity, too - i.e. pear or apple schnapps, something on the basis of raspberry should work very nicely, too. All this should be a highly percentaged alcohol, not a sweet liquor. As far as I know, alfredo sauce does not call for any alcohol, but creme cheese sauces should work well with a dry white wine.
