Yep - possibly the most beautiful shoreline on earth. Those rock formations with that gorgeous pink colour are simply jaw-dropping. Thanks for capturing this in another sunny and captivating video, Daryl!
What an awesome looking trail in an amazing park. The Canadian Shield is beautiful. Endless trails and waterways. The terrain changes are stunning. Another well done video.
Georgian Bay is absolutely spectacular… there’s something so special about it… so rugged and wild yet calming. Places like this touch our soul…. And calls us back. Spectacular hike and views. The sixth great lake indeed…. (I’ll cross that bridge when I get to… Lol)… Thanks for the hike Daryl… ✌️
I love this trail and I agree - the shoreline of Georgian Bay is incredibly beautiful. I was there in summer and went swimming off those rocks that you reach after the bridge. Beautiful photos! I love the photos from 20 years ago too
This looked like such a fantastic hike. I loved the drone shots looking out over the water showing those little rocky islands. The shoreline at the end was really beautiful too, seeing the water splash up on those smooth rocks.
Hi. Thanks, those rocky islands are everywhere along the shoreline and are probably the reason why I am so enamored with Georgian Bay. Thanks for watching.
Easy to see how this is your favorite place 🙂. It almost looks like you're on the ocean. It reminded us a bit of shoreline that we've got here in places. Thank You for taking us along, that is a beautiful place 👍. All the best, Michelle and Holger 🙏
Thanks! I love that type of shoreline. If you do find yourselves out here on your way to the east coast, feel free to give me a shout. I can maybe point you to some places you might like or at least offer you a place to park for a night or two. Cheers. ~ Daryl
Daryl, that was soothing for the soul... I too think the North Shore of Lake Huron is one of my favourite places. It's far more accessible than most of the north shore of Superior, I think. Man, I could almost smell the trees, woods, water and even the rocks - when they heat up in the sun, they kind of give off a scent too, I've found. Am I wrong? 🤷🏼♂️ Another Monday morning rescued from the pit of despair! Lol! (We're currently experiencing a "weather phenomenon" which we used to call "hail and freezing rain".) Thanks for sharing with us!
Thanks Jeff, I laughed at your weather remark - yeah, they're going a bit too dramatic with their descriptions nowadays. And you're not wrong about the forest's fragrance, it's quite amazing to experience, especially after a rain. I've got Lake Superior on my radar, if not this summer, hopefully next. Thanks as always. ~ Daryl
I haven't spent much time hiking around Killarney but this is a trail I've done at least two or three times! It's a wonderful spot. Thanks for the coverage and stories!
Terrific video! I feel the same way. Every time I paddle out The Chik all my worries disappear. You kayaked from The Chik to The Key.... that's a heck of a paddle 👍
Great hiking and history Daryl! The rocky landscape and views are breathtaking! I can see why people love to kayak and canoe there, as well as hike. Wonderful views of the Bay, I bet the wind can get pretty strong through there. Looks exciting to kayak where there are so many rocks just below the surface. Someday we'll have to visit too! 👍👍☀☀- Jen
@@flynorthproductions When we retire we’re going to go on mini driving vacations- hopefully a few in Canada as well as in the US! I think it’s our kind of place too!
I did not know it was so big until you said it is sometimes referred to as the sixth Great Lake. Canada definitely has the most and best lakes in the world. I enjoyed the little tour. 👍
After you crossed the bridge when you got to it, did you burn the bridge too, lol😁I love your openings😃 I know what it is about Georgian Bay...it's beautiful there😍😍 Great hike, Daryl😊
2:02 - That view is just spectacular! Looks like you had the trail to yourself too. I am heading to Bell Lake next weekend for a couple of nights. Weather permitting we will hike The Peak. Can't wait! Your past two videos have really got me chomping at the bit... :p
Thanks! I just love that shoreline. I hope you have great weather and I hope you'll make a video out of your climb. The last time I was up there I proposed to my wife, we're coming up on our 26th anniversary later this year. So that place has some good memories for me; I hope you get to do it. ~ Daryl
Thanks for the well wishes and also for sharing your proposal memory. Twenty six years you say? Wow. If the weather is good, I will film for sure. This will be my 6th time to The Peak. Never gets old. Cheers! T.
Awesome footage! The website you referenced is run by my aunt, she also runs the Shebahonaning Killarney History youtube channel with lots of interesting information about Killarney.
Wow, I wish I knew about that site sooner! It's a wealth of great information. I've just started exploring it and I'm hoping I have time to find something I can use from it for my next video Killarney PP video which I want to finish in the next couple of days. I'm so glad you shared this with me - thank you!
@@flynorthproductions Looking forward to more videos :) I'm curious if you have done the hike to the old tar vats from the killarney lighthouse? I'm curious if they are still there, it's been about 25 years since I was up that way :p
Hi, no I haven't been there but I have it on my radar. You might be interested in my friend's video though: ua-cam.com/video/tr67_iqPBns/v-deo.htmlsi=Hinbk_CBIxI-l49N It's in Killarney too but perhaps is a different location than the one you mentioned I think.

Thanks Rob, I truly love that shoreline, no two views are the same. I hope to get my kayak out there a few times this year. Thanks for watching!
I wish I was closer to Georgian Bay I would be there visiting it a lot 😊
There isn’t enough words for its beauty good video!
Agreed! It is an amazing shoreline. I hope to get out there a bit more now that I have a slightly bigger kayak. Thanks for watching.
Can certainly see why this would soon become a favourite for sure...just a great piece of peace and tranquility!
