I miss those days ( even If I'm born in 1990 ^^'), when CGI wasn't the only way to do a movie.... I would have loved to work there, with all those models on a set trying to get the good lights, animations and such ... Sorry for my english.
@58jtaylor I born two years after Aliens, grew in the generation of Alien 3, Ressurection, the Aliens vs Predator films. I admired all four films. Alien, Aliens, and Alien 3 are my favorites terms of art, direction, cinematography, and sfx.
@souljalinchen Avatar from James Cameron... and that's pretty funny, I mean, when they had to "do the effects themselves" like in Aliens or Terminator 1 (and in some way 2) we got true classics. But lately they brought the industry down that bad to make necessary bringing back certain franchises like Batman or (again) Terminator, or retell stories like Avatar - Pocahontas or Benjamin Button - Forrest Gump (ever noticed it?) to make some money -which seems to be today's only goal.
@MrAndersohn Yeah, it's incredible how kids pay for "flashy crap" and that's making the film industry to turn into a pile of crap. It's different when we have movies like LOTR, but what about shit like Star Wars ep. I and Avatar that are actually expendable events? Yes the visual advance, but what's the point if we have bullshit wrapped with it? Another example is Bram Stoker's Dracula over pretty boys who can't act. Holywood, like the trans-national music corporations, it's endangered.
Holy damn that is some hardcore hair on those Skotaks!

I think it's funny that the Skotak brothers also worked with Roger Corman, who was one of the original choices to direct "Alien".
@supermanbp09 They've gotta be sharing wigs. Exactly the same.
Alien 3 was interesting, AvP was a great comic/games, the last one you made up.

no 19, dont worry it actually continues in part 20, so really there are only 24 parts, no need for a part 19.
