Thousands of us fans would buy the house right away if we had money. The best fan would open it up as a museum for the rest. As physical tribute of this radient star.
This just shows such a beautiful home and I can really see her in it. I've seen other videos where the house was filled with nice furniture and then others telling she didn't have furniture and it was so bare. There is so much to take in. Things seemed to finally be getting back on track with her life and then, it's over. I'm so happy we keep having videos that show that lovely house and lovely Marilyn.
I wonder why this house is always up for sale. Do people that buy it believe it’s haunted or something? If it was me and I had the money to buy it, it would be a dream come true. Yes, she was murdered there, but when I see her, I get the warmest vibes. Her spirit would haunt me differently, and I think it’s because I admired her so much 💜
Same! I absolutely adore Marilyn Monroe and if I had the money I would buy it right away even though I am very sure her spirit is still there since she died there but I wouldn’t mind Marilyn haunting me at all I would move it. Marilyn is a warm hearted and kind and beautiful soul and I know she would never hurt me or something. But I am sure the house is definitely haunted.
I wish a Marilyn fan would have bought the 1929 vintage house right after she died, put it in a trust, and kept it perfectly preserved just the way she left it, inside and out. The trust could have set it up for private tours and fans over the decades could have enjoyed visiting her last home. Because the house is at the end of a narrow lane with several other private residences, the tour goers would need to be in a passenger van. They would need to space out the tours during the day so the neighborhood would not be disrupted. The proceeds from the tours could have been used for paying a resident caretaker/ guide, maintenance, and donations to charity. Just about all the furniture went with the house including items that were still to be shipped from Mexico. She went there on a furniture buying trip in February 1962 with her personal assistant/housekeeper Eunice Murray. By August, they were getting impatient about the long delay . A number of the pieces Marilyn never got to see in her home. The Gilbert Nunez family was able swoop in and put a contract on the house as soon as they heard the news of her death. After some legal wrangling with other potential buyers, they took possession in March 1963. For some strange reason the house did not fall under her will. I would think that would be automatic.

She didn’t commit suicide. Her doctor over prescribed her and Marilyn popped one too many pills that evening trying to get to sleep.
