It's so funny to see that this whole stuff we had to make (or some scoured small flight cases and modded them) in the late 80s and begin of the 90s are now available off the shelf. Pretty decent power supply so to see and nice light weight yet sturdy plastic case. Cool stuff. Who says that everything in the past was better, obviously isn't looking properly :D
Thank you for this video. For non-Boss pedals, it seems better to replace the original foam with another foam board (the kind we find in hardware, to go under the washing machine) and cut it to the right dimensions. Because this pedalboard (with its cover) was designed precisely not to use velcro. To me, it seems a shame to put velcro here.
Nice board Sam! I love that you have a Ditto on there as well as the Combo Drive too. That's kind of a forgotten great Boss pedal. Just out of curiosity, what is the amp you use at home for most of your videos and practicing and other stuff?
The Ditto is the most awesome little pedal! For the ASIA shows I use an ENGL Powerball 2. I run a Fender Bassman when playing out with my blues rock trio. For most my videos I'm running into a BOSS GT10, It's way easier than micing an amp and it sounds great to my ears!
Sam Coulson Yeah I love my Ditto as well! Great pedal for not much money. Never would have guessed a GT10 is what you have at home, it sounds great to me too! Also how is that Strymon reverb pedal? Compared to like the reverb in your Bassman (if it has it?)
Hi Sam, I am a big fan of your stuff. I have a BC-60. I know that technically the modulation effects should go through an effects loop if you have one but it seems quite cumbersome. What do you do/recommend?
Hey man! You only really need to put those effects through the loop if you are running the dirty channel on your amp. These days I tend to only use the clean and get dirty tones via pedals. Doing it this way there is no problem having everything going in the front of the amp.

James Russo The Bassman doesn't have reverb and I really like a little on my tone to fill in the gaps. The Strymon is excellent!
