    Awesome to see our home in the video and we LOVE our Modern Day system that you installed for us last year! Highly recommended!

      Thank you so much for watching! Your installation was really clean! It was one of the best of the pictures and videos I used to document. I do this just in case the drywallers mess something up. Thanks again!

    This is pretty cool. I didn't know these existed.

    Your Content is so comprehensive and informative that it deserves a better microphone and recording space. Yes, I am very adept at spending other people's money, but the audio is not at the same level as the rest of your production. Keep up the good work.

    We have a Vacumaid central vacuum in the home that my wife and I built, and that is always our main vacuum. We purposely bought a bagged model, mainly because they are more convenient to clean, and both of us also love it because we have four cats and two German Shepherds that shed so much, so it is very convenient. We live in Michigan, and our vacuum is in the utility room in the basement, which is very conducive towards the noise factor.

    Hi There!! Loving your videos. Been going through them. I’m looking to replace my central vac unit.
    I have a vacuflo dealer near me. I’m thinking an oversized unit may be best. I’m currently considering the DB8000 (151” waterlift/136 CFM) or DB9000 (208” waterlift/122 CFM).
    My house:
    Located at sea level
    2800 square feet/2 story with attached garage. Top floor carpet with hard floor for main and basement floor
    6 outlets (non-retractable/classic)
    Will use 50ft hoses
    Unit located in the Garage (outdoor venting access available)
    I intend on using air powered/turbo tools for carpet.
    Which unit would you recommend/lean towards? The 240v is not a problem.
    Hoping to hear from you soon!
    Kind Regards,
    Zach

      With vacuflow I would go with a DB8000 over the 9000. That 8.4 in motor that's in the DB8000 is a really special piece of kit. Owen Perkins is a video on the motor itself. You'll probably see more real world performance out of 8000 if your house is under 6000 square feet

      @@PerformanceReviews thank you very much! Last question is, do you think it is future proof/powerful enough (in your opinion), if I wanted to add an extra outlet and possibly 1-2 undersink vrooms?
      Thank again for your help!

    To each their own. I have a HAH as well as electric inlets. HAH for quick cleanups. I have enough things to remember to charge up. Can't be bothered worrying about a vacuum nozzle or worry about it dying on me. It takes less than a minute to coil up the electric hose and put it away. It's not like the old wire-reinforced days.

      I had an hybrid install like that in my last house. I never use the plug-in hose after I got a battery powered EBK360. You could clean the house twice on that battery. I decided in my current house to only go with retractable houses they really are the better solution at the end of the day. But there's nothing wrong with a hybrid install as long as you enjoy your central vacuum!

      @@PerformanceReviews How heavy is the battery pack for the EBK360? Is there a lot of weight to haul around? Is there a battery pack for the Stealth 15"?

    If I have relatively small townhouse, can the central vacuum be placed totally outside the house? Do you think a house can be too small to make sense for a central vacuum?

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 місяці тому +1

      I've seen townhouses with them placed in the garage, utility rooms and outside storage rooms on patios.

    Can one of these units be installed on the exterior within a sealed, or vented, closet?

    Great video, I would add another great brand to that list, Drainvac. I have several of their units and they are excellent. Actually if I owned a house, I would want the regular valves installed, the retractable hose systems cannot support electric power nozzles. I know battery powered ones are available but I have a nozzle for hard floors, it's the Centec CT10 and it requires an electric hose. Since I live in an apartment I use all of my central vacuums without pipes. Alex, I remember the transformer you brought to the convention a few years ago, we ran my Drainvac Twin Turbo unit using it, I think you said the step up transformer got really toasty after running it for a while. I have at least one central vacuum unit in every room of my apartment.

      Drain vac has some great motor options. But there's almost no dealer support in the US. Which is kind of silly for most common consumers. However as a collector I understand. I do appreciate playing with your drain backs a few years ago . Thanks for listening!

    Okay my basic question is can you have a central vac if you are in a ranch style home with no garage

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 місяці тому +1

      Should be feasible you'd want to put it in a utility room. I would call up your local installer and have them do an estimate.

    Also with Central wax do they have like a shampooer thing where you can shampoo carpets or is it just a vacuum thank you

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  2 місяці тому

      Not sure what "central wax" is.
      But central vacuums don't have a shampooer. There have been some machines that do have a water line but they are installed a lot different and require a lot more maintenance.

    If you're in a single family home that has one floor plan no basement but have a carpool or a carport can you still have a central vacuum installed into your home

      Yes a central vac can be installed but not all systems can work. Contact a dealer or dealers and ask if their system can work. You will love using a central vac!
