So I really want to buy this colorway but I'm afraid of the translucent outsole. My gym is slightly dusty, but I use these shoes mainly for volleyball. Even when I play basketball I wipe the shoes super often. If that's the case, you think it would be fine? Or is it even with wiping I'll find myself slipping? How has it been for you?

One a clean maintained court the grip was 100/10!! But playing on my usual dusty court I couldn’t stop sliding around…it was so bad I had to change shoes in between games
I see. Did you mean this purple colorway? Interesting I had a very different experience - it was great for me on dust.
I experienced the same @iAbdosh Had to swap to the WOW 10; was sliding around like ice on a slightly dusty court. WOW 10 was a dream. Kind of disappointed with the purple colorway imo

@@TommyLiu4 yup same color way. I’d wipe them clean and within 5 min it’d collect so much dust I felt like I was hooping in bowling shoes
@@iAbdosh Oh got it, I guess traction can be hit or hiss with some shoes, I’ve had terrible experiences on ones that others really enjoyed 😂 Regular 808 3 should be safe though, like a solid rubber colorway.

Oxygen is clean as always 👌 and it's the one that I got. But the black New York colorway is lowkey fire 🔥

@@syedmuhammadmehdi7137 For me personally yeah. I play volleyball so not even that much running. It started off really strong but eventually even wiping wasn't giving me firm stops. To be fair, our gym floor was dusty in my opinion but I've worn wow 10s and they gripped so much harder and consistently. I also switched to the oxygen color way and they grip amazingly when I was balling so, yeah. But I think if it's a clean floor they should grip fine. For me it's not always a guaranteed clean floor so that's why I prefer oxygen as it's more consistent.
How does the durability compare with the solid rubber outside? I have the Chemical Reaction one and have only worn and played with it 6 times outside and the outsole have been worn out on the heel and the lateral and a little bit on thh medial part of the forefoot.
808 3 Ultra I’ve only used my pairs indoors so can’t be sure about that sorry! I’m guessing it should be fine, solid rubber version might be slightly more durable.

Have you had any issues with heal slippage? Just got mine in today (family love colorway) so I haven’t actually played in them, but I noticed when I walk my heel comes up a bit. Not enough to where it’s coming out the shoe or anything but enough to where I definitely noticed it. Got my true size and the rest of the shoe seems like it fit okay 😕

I haven’t used them outdoors yet - but will provide updates if I do 😃 Should be fine I think. The previous translucent outsole was good for outdoors.

Perfect! Also top tier traction just like the solid rubber on the WOW 10s. Their translucent outsoles became so much better compared from last year.

I really have no preference between solid rubber and translucent outsoles on both the WOW 10 Low & 808 3 Ultra - they both work perfectly fine. But on the 808 3 Ultra this purple colorway has better upper materials from my experience.

Hey. Yeah most likely, we’ll have to see until later on but translucent outsoles tend to yellow over time.

I've been using these and loving them but i had an issue where it digs into my ankle, i have seen a similar issue with other people. does it go away?
I’m not sure - haven’t had that issue myself. But on the Oxygen colorway I’ve had some pinching on the lateral side and that did not really go away tbh.

Ummm regular 808 3 is close, but I love the Gelburst 27 so much lol both are Top 10 of the year I would say.
But suppose I can only take one I’m still sticking with the Gelburst 27.

Sturdy enough, but I haven’t used them on an outdoor court yet. Only situation I would avoid is getting them wet, that might potentially be an issue…
