What an amazing video! I felt like I was there. Al's storytelling had me feeling the misery, struggle, determination. The skilled filming showed the gorgeous countryside it all took part in. Panning up from the trail to the ocean sky was genius. Well done to you both!

Got my 1st ultra in exactly 36 hours and this is just the inspirational video I needed... Many thanks and great video. PS ..Funny how those old army marches in years gone by come back to help you later on in life when you take on new challenges...LOL

I've only ever entered a 20 miler but that was in England so nothing like the hills in Wales
Yeah had the mixed feeling of nerves and excitement all week.. running the Eden Valley 50k its in Kent on the Sussex Kent border

Al would have been using Leki Micro Trail Pros, I have the same set myself and they are probably my favourite piece of equipment for very long runs.
