As a guy who simply runs trails as a hobby and likely will never have the conditioning nor the willpower to do something like this: I salute you, this was…well, miraculous. Also, I have zero interest in races. But a challenge like this, of course toned down and adapted for us mere mortals, together with like minded people, this is something I could see myself doing. No brands, no big biz, no merch, no “conquest of paradise, nothing. Nothing but paz y tranquilidad. Oh, and the shot around 15:00, with the tall grass in the foreground. Pure beauty. As a Swiss guy I say: eat this, Lauterbrunnen valley and Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
Thanks for the kind words Mookie! Always appreciate your comments. And yes, much better now, took a few weeks and a lot of stretching and some strength work and now slowly building up the mileage again.
Absolutely loved this. It was harsh trails and conditions, but what an adventure we had. I’m sure we’ll be back to tackle it to completion with drier weather and ground! I love this style of film. It’s a departure from the usual kelp and fern style, but I honestly think it works so well. I’m secretly hoping there will be more like this 🤩 Thanks again for the adventures Martin and Ben (or is that Maragorn and Benolas?) 🙏
The beauty and brutality of nature are both on display here! Can't imagine what it must have been like carrying those packs on such difficult terrain and in such grim conditions. Well done for taking on this challenge while handling the additional burden of capturing it on film.
Awesome attempt especially given the crappy conditions and pack weight! These are the kind of adventures I'm interested in now. Hope you can make it back for a revenge attack 💥💪
A big thanks to Sean of Trail Running for Life for the footage of myself, go check out his channel www.youtube.com/@trailrunningforlife and Ben has a very wholesome Instagram about the natural world that you should follow too instagram.com/benwildimages/
Superb time out in really shit weather all - mind you it made for some amazing atmospheres. Truly challenging - ah bliss in the Bothy. So good you could rest up before finishing shortly after. You did fantastically well. I enjoyed that every step of the way. Mark
I really enjoy your videos and have watched many of them and all bring me joy and inspiration. I understand recording audio out there must be very difficult (and can’t imagine recording while being a part of the run) but if it’s ever possible for subtitles that would be amazing as there’s a few times on some of your videos where I wish I could hear what was being said better. Thanks again for creating and sharing such great footage
I am so glad they bring you joy! Yes it is difficult depending on the weather at the time and how close/far I am from a runner. I have updated the subtitles of this video so they've been added now in English and should make the whole video understandable if its hard to follow in parts. Thanks again for your kind words.
YES, this is exactly what i'm aiming for, a celebration of the trail and landscape, and volunteering is a great idea. All the best to you and thanks for watching.

Another great video! The scenery is always amazing. I hope the ankle is behaving! Great adventure guys.
