Just bought the axe and using it for the first time, have almost 8 cord split so I didn’t have to be doing anything but had a few knotty pieces I decided to hit and it bit me in the lower leg into my calf muscle. Here's a tip for heating your food. Many moons ago working the flightline on fighters, we would put our food in the engine compartment of the line truck. I would wrap my red hots in foil and place them near the manifold. Good eating. Some guys would put the cans of beanie weenies in there too. Watching you bucking those logs reminds me of a bad experience I had. And I've got the rod in my leg to remind me.
