i could go on and on about this.. i used to be so full of joy and happy until it was beaten out of me by literally everyone from teachers to my parents to other children and yeah literally everyone.. i used to be fun at parties until i was rejected from everywhere i ever went.. you people deserve whatever villains you get.. youre quite honestly asking for them and creating them.. heres an example lets see if this makes any sense.. im walking down the street in a major city.. i see a big neon sign outside a bar that literally says "karaoke inside".. i go inside and start talking to people and im being fun and happy in a good mood you might say.. i try to get some karaoke going because obviously no one is doing it and its just a few people sitting around the bar.. they kick me out for trying to do karaoke in a bar that literally has a sign outside that says theyre doing karaoke... now im guessing every single person reading this will laugh at me and say yeah they should kick you out because ive learned that youre all blood thirsty savages and none of you are heroes in fact youre all villains.. yet you portray me as the villain because i dont fit in.. because im your victim in this trap youve set.. literally everyone is a horrible person and no one is ashamed of it.. no one is trying to be a good person and they all brag about how horrible they are.. that being said i used to be a happy person until everyone treated me like crap.. but this is all that makes anyone happy is being terrible.. so now im a villain? just like everyone else? because im no longer interested in getting to know anyone because theyre all proud of being horrible? seriously the only reason why anyone pretends to be a friendly person is to make you feel excluded.. theyre friendly to each other but theyre pretending.. just to make you feel like youre not included.. they dont actually like each other and theyre not really friends.. theyre all just posing for social media.. hey look i have fake friends and you dont..

I like your inclusion of comic book/graphic novel examples of heroes & villains. I believe it was Grant Morrison who drew the comparison (no doubt as a result of having studied Jung and Campbell) that super-heroes fulfill the role, in the modern day, which once the gods did; many super-heroes are gods or demigods or some equivalent thereof (Superman). Same archetypes, just rebranded and recontextualised for the present. I'm curious, have you read Morrison's Multiversity?
There is still the problematic extremes of dualism, the good and evil. The pendulum swings to one extreme to the next. Most people forget to see the gray-zone in between good and evil. You are the bridge between. The whole. When your pendulums settles down it will be easier to see this.

To look within and see what’s there, to feel the pain of what you see there. To be able to know or feel what you can be capable of when you look in the mirror. And to always be aware to make the right decisions even if it means questioning authority is a daily battle.
Gonna watch this because of my mental health stuggle of switching between the two. Always idolizing the villain. Garou being the best example from one punch man
The thing about super Heroes is they are vigilantes, outside of the Law and above the Law that binds us all to the structure of our civilization. They are in many ways as evil and dangerous to that civilization as the villains they appose. The constraints of Law prevent citizens from using the power of violence which is supposed to be in the sole domain of the Government, the agreed upon arbiter of the peace. Of course, Superheroes aren't real but vigilantes are and their dispensing of swift justice is at odds with maintaining the peace. They are considered criminals in both democratic and authoritarian States as they disrupt and challenge the authority of the State. BUT, we all long to be such people as take control and bring what justice we think is right, for us. It is both childish and selfish and lives deep in everybody's heart. Policemen are the government's well trained and disciplined (LOL), agents of public violence, to maintain order, with the Court system to apply governmental justice.

i could go on and on about this.. i used to be so full of joy and happy until it was beaten out of me by literally everyone from teachers to my parents to other children and yeah literally everyone.. i used to be fun at parties until i was rejected from everywhere i ever went.. you people deserve whatever villains you get.. youre quite honestly asking for them and creating them.. heres an example lets see if this makes any sense.. im walking down the street in a major city.. i see a big neon sign outside a bar that literally says "karaoke inside".. i go inside and start talking to people and im being fun and happy in a good mood you might say.. i try to get some karaoke going because obviously no one is doing it and its just a few people sitting around the bar.. they kick me out for trying to do karaoke in a bar that literally has a sign outside that says theyre doing karaoke... now im guessing every single person reading this will laugh at me and say yeah they should kick you out because ive learned that youre all blood thirsty savages and none of you are heroes in fact youre all villains.. yet you portray me as the villain because i dont fit in.. because im your victim in this trap youve set.. literally everyone is a horrible person and no one is ashamed of it.. no one is trying to be a good person and they all brag about how horrible they are.. that being said i used to be a happy person until everyone treated me like crap.. but this is all that makes anyone happy is being terrible.. so now im a villain? just like everyone else? because im no longer interested in getting to know anyone because theyre all proud of being horrible? seriously the only reason why anyone pretends to be a friendly person is to make you feel excluded.. theyre friendly to each other but theyre pretending.. just to make you feel like youre not included.. they dont actually like each other and theyre not really friends.. theyre all just posing for social media.. hey look i have fake friends and you dont..
Thank you so much for making these videos! They are always high quality and fascinating to listen to! I always thought Lucifer in paradise lost was so fascinating ever since I listened to Wendigoon speak about it on his channel.
Ive been waiting for one like this. I find villains more interesting most of the time.
I love your channel. It's just what I needed.
Excellent work, thank you
Simply spectacular, a total master piece. Thank you!
sometimes villains are not the villain, but society is.
Thank you Eternalised 🙏
mane eternalised never fails to fill me up with his glorious, well- researched, comprehensive, precise, deep, timeless, psychological, and soul searching content everytime he posts
the most comprehensive video on my hyper fixations, thank you for renewing them stronger than ever
the holistic way you covered villains is wonderful and interesting, keep up the good work
Thank You For All You Do My Friend❤
🙋🏼 Thank You for this important post Eternalised ❤🩷😇
I like your inclusion of comic book/graphic novel examples of heroes & villains. I believe it was Grant Morrison who drew the comparison (no doubt as a result of having studied Jung and Campbell) that super-heroes fulfill the role, in the modern day, which once the gods did; many super-heroes are gods or demigods or some equivalent thereof (Superman). Same archetypes, just rebranded and recontextualised for the present.
I'm curious, have you read Morrison's Multiversity?
FUCK YEAHHHH!!! it’s live
There is still the problematic extremes of dualism, the good and evil. The pendulum swings to one extreme to the next. Most people forget to see the gray-zone in between good and evil. You are the bridge between. The whole. When your pendulums settles down it will be easier to see this.
Thanks to you, I try la jungienne psychanalysé on pop culture, and the results are very assuring
Now I get it . . . The "Ring" In the LOTR" is the comfort in conformity & not willing to tackle the Jungian "Shadow"
food for thought, fuel for the night, I see many new viewers commenting that would surely should view your previous content, to visit or revisit, your empirical and all-encompassing free content defines the right path of curiosity
I feel like all the villain types (The Tyrant, The Resentful One, The Traitor etc..) all deserve their own video. Great video as always. Cheers!
Beautiful. Another wonderful one, thank you.
I love all of your videos. This one was the most insightful to me.
Thanks!
this may be the video essay most tailored to my interests I have had the pleasure of watching

Hi 👋

Bro i learned so much about myself. Especially on that "the resentful one" part
new eternalised video babe, get the popcorn !!!
Bae wake up new eternalised video 😚
This is amazing, it’s providing plenty of research for my passion project 👍
I don’t think you can become a hero unless you have confronted and come to terms with your own inner shadow.
“Since he believes that god is dead, he must become god himself” is the hardest line I’ve heard in a while
Always been attracted 2 the villain as a Lil kid watching the cartoons
Another great video, although you missed the perfect opportunity to break down the psychology of Walter White as a tragic hero!
Garou being the best example from one punch man
hero and villain the definition of life
The thing about super Heroes is they are vigilantes, outside of the Law and above the Law that binds us all to the structure of our civilization.
Please do one for the corrupted hero!!!!
