- Angels have fascinated human consciousness since the beginning of time. The word angel derives from the Greek angelos, which is the default translation of the Biblical Hebrew term mal’ākh (literally “messenger”). The angel is a messenger between God and mankind.
Whether we talk about angels, daimons, djinns, fairies, or any other of such beings, they all hold something in common, despite their difference in appearance, namely, they are all archetypal images of the same fundamental pattern, the archetype of the ethereal being. These spirits coexist with us; they just exist at another level of reality.
As the archetypal image of the call, the angel initiates individuation, the journey towards wholeness of personality (the Self), as well theosis (union with God). Therefore, angels can help us both psychologically and spiritually. The integration of the angel archetype allows us to examine the nature of our essence or soul, the uniqueness that asks to be lived in each of us, and that unfolds itself during our lifetime. Thus, angels carry our true vocation, which is a calling, towards the meaning of our life.

"Every blade of grass has an angel" is highly syncretic with the shinto belief that every grain of rice and every word has a deity or spirit tied to it. And not usually just one; but one per FUNCTION.
The Talmud says, "Behind every blade of grass is an angel whispering, grow," or something like that...
And the platonic conception that every single thing has its otherworldly idea/form. Love the shinto relation, I never see anyone talking about that on any philosophy videos

I’m not much of a reader , but with this narrator, I can listen almost like an audio book
I believe our conscience is our guardian angel speaking to us, yearning us to move into the direction of our highest good. Some people over the course of life loose their ability to hear it due to the denial of its call so many times over. The result is ultimately self destruction and suffering. However it is never gone, we just have to learn to listen to it and have faith that it will lead us in the direction of our life’s purpose.

The beauty of angels is terrifying because they are a complete being and they are sinless. They are a portrait of what life without being steeped in sin corruption would look like, they have no choice or agency so their form is complete as well. They are not an open ended thought, like man, but they have everything included within themselves that they will need for eternity. Since they do not make choices they have no need to be flexible or movable, they are static. This immovability shows man that perfection is not only possible but has been achieved. Man can only make things worse, never better.
Man is terrified because the act of being bound into one shape would be a death sentence here on Earth where we need to run and walk and speak and be quiet and learn and forget. We cannot hold one form for eternity as we are not complete and being able to behold a being which has no need to change shows us how far we are from being good. We cannot make ourselves good and the angels show us that as even some of the angels fell. The fallen angels cannot be saved and necessarily must be destroyed because they cannot be changed, their shape and their essence are complete and that means for them that they are completely corrupt for eternity. Which is why man can be saved, as we are incomplete.
But didn't "fallen angels" "rebel" meaning they had a choice and changed?

i remember going to the pool with my sister, but she was hanging out with her boyfriend in the sauna. And i was a type of kid back then that wouldn't go inside the pool unless nobody was in the pool section. So we would often visit to the pool after school to see if anyone was inside it. So at the time i didn't know how to swim and i was so curious of being closer to the 6 foot area... and once the water got to my neck, i started drowning, as i didn't know how to float. I didn't fear dying or what it was ... but i knew that if i was drowning for 30 more second i was going to fade away . then out of nowhere someone pulls me out, a man that was suddenly in the pool. and when i gained consciousness i realized i was still the only one in the pool. Maybe it was a dream, or maybe the old man left in a rush. but i remember it clearly i went running to my sister in the sauna and i didn't say anything, because i didn't questioned what just happened. i never got to thank the stranger who saved me..

Erm as far as I understand the Celtics had a different belief in fairies. The idea that they were caught in purgatory was spread to warm them up to the idea that the Church had the authority to alter religion. So when they introduced purgatory to the doctrine such was folklore shifted for the church’s convenience

"I've got an Angel on my shoulder but the Devil is in my head"...I can't recall where I read this quote or who it's attributed to, but upon reading it the first time, i instantly felt like somebody understood me & my life-long struggle with my mental illnesses & how I've consistently battled my own self. It feels as if the loudest of my inner voices continuously berates me for even existing, while the quiet voice that tries to tell me that I'm worthy of the love & attention I've always been given. But the hoarse, demanding voice blocks out any thoughts of being worthy & I've yet to discover how to make that voice shut the fuck up, even if it's just for a moment. My brain is literally battling itself every single minute of every single day & has done so from the minute i was born. I've struggled with this my entire life, as early as i can remember, and there's no specific catalyst or triggering event that caused me to hate myself. No abuse, no neglect...I've always known that I'm loved unconditionally by my family. The worst part is that my family understood this issue & were always willing to help me in any way possible...but you can't fix something that wasn't put together properly from the start. I feel like a burden because I want to feel happiness so that my family can see it too, but nothing has worked...i simply feel numb when properly medicated & counseled, never content, never happy...I just feel less suicidal & I just hope for death instead of actively seeking it out.
If anyone actually reads this, please let me know if there's something different i could try. Or if you struggle with similar feelings, please tell me so I don't feel so utterly alone.
Please don't suggest religion, meditation, or any of the usually "helpful" things as I've done all of it already. I'm not like most people who suffer from bipolar depression, major depressive disorder, chronic anxiety & suicidal ideations. I pray every night that i won't wake up the next morning...I won't try offing myself again (only happened once & it was the lowest point of my life). I'm just tired of existing. My life isn't going to get any better. I'm 43 years old & every year it gets worse. I just don't want to live anymore, because at this point I'm just surviving, not thriving, and it's gotten worse & hasn't improved.

Myself i yet do not know, many answers to many questions. I am seeking the truth. In dark waters have i tried to swim out of, still sometimes do. How myself i have transformed, and shall in the future, is, through solitude.

Watching the sky and space, using imagination,

Learning on topics, that support your interests,
Write and wonder, think.
Eventhough i could have not imagined it possible before, scared of myself.
As i see life now is;
A playfull dance of nature, the universe.
Nothing, to take seriously.
Myself, i will soon seperate myself from people i know, the city i am from, and head out to the world by myself, just being, experiencing, living naturally and truly simply.
One’s whole life is encapsulated, in this moment, Always.
See the universe in the spcae above, in the nature around you, in your neighbours eyes.
Seperate yourself from all prejudices, concepts, seperations and views.
Seperate your self from the societys delusion, on what life is. (Materialistic living, strive for wealthiness etc)

I remember being in 7th grade and praying every single night that God could give me one happy day, so that I knew what it felt like. After a while, I stopped praying. That kinda sounds like where you are. And then I went through years of numbing. And shape shifting. And being clever. And it's taken me decades to finally realize that God was mimicking my parents, and I needed to learn that so that I could hear my kids tell me what they need, no matter how strange it seemed. And if I look back on my life it's so easy to focus on the bad times where I feel so ashamed of myself for making the wrong decisions, hurting myself and others, like a lot, not a little. But one thing that I feel proud about is that my kids have had some happy days, and I think they feel listened to. I bet you have an awareness about something too. What's worked for me is to not overthink anything. For example, I think Hitler was a good man, but I don't care to read Mien Kamp. I'm intrigued by certain patterns , but I don't want to read about astrology or numerology other than generic description. I guess you could say that I'm grandiose, because I blindly step into traffic sometimes, so to speak. God gave me the gift of being alone so that I could understand what it is like to be a human. It's okay to be alone. I know I just crushed the storyline of Its A Wonderful Life, I also think you don't have to stay alone. But it's okay to be alone. And that thought feels good. I hope you find peace bro.

Start drawing.
It will be boring at first.
But trying to draw this single line straight for last 20 pages will make you feel good.
Don't start drawing with the intention that you want to be good at it. Don't use an eraser or anything. Go draw lines.
Be bad at it.
Don't listen to music or anything at all while drawing.
Sometimes even drawing a single square will be as challenging as climbing a mountain.
But without a doubt. Do it and do it everyday.
