Few questions: 1. Why do you need the audio interface in the middle? Can’t you connect directly into the midi4+ ? 2. If multiple iPads needs to be connected! How do I connect them by wire? Do I need midi4+ for each one? Or can I use a hub and route afterwords?
Great Questions! You don’t have to use an audio interface for this, but I’m demoing how your iPad could be across stage, or 500 ft. Away connected to a MIDI 4+ and all you need is an Ethernet cable connected to the PlayAudio12-which gives you MIDI redundancy. Check out the video on using a PA12 and MIDI4+ for more in-depth look. 2. To connect multiple you can either use multiple MIDI4s or connect each iPad to a hub/switch via an adapter.

I am not using music stand, but would like to be able to send page turns for PDF from Ableton if possible for solo or small band instead of using paper chord charts or manually turning pages in PDF. Thank you

Can this be used together with using Abe to run slides in PP? It seems to intercept the signal when using Wifi for both.
