To be honest, you guys talking about your time when you also had to rely on government aid made me feel so much better. It’s such a hard time of year for us broke boys.
Speaking as a tax payer who has never needed government assistance; PLEASE take it and use it whenever you need it. Don’t feel bad or ashamed.
I pay taxes specifically with the intention to provide that safety net for myself and others. I can’t stand it when old white republicans run their mouths about how we can’t afford all these “hand outs” when they cashed millions in loans straight out of my tax paid wallet.
Farm subsidies alone make up more than we’ve ever spent on SNAP.

I got serious sick as a poor immigrant child, Canadian healthcare saved my life and in exchange I pay my taxes gladly. Also Canadian healthcare saved my daughters life. So I owe them twice. Both times the bill would be multi generational debt in the US. She better happily pay her taxes when she grows up.

This show will not be the same without QT and Austin tbh. It's the best when all four of them are in the same room. Hasan spewing stuff, Will's cracking laugh, Austin's awkward statements and QT holding them all together. Truly the best foursome.

Food stamps are the shit. I have said this to so many people around me who get all weird about applying but if you are eligible for food stamps GET THE FOOD STAMPS - You Do Need It.
And all the rich people who I know in life literally never turn down any benefit they could ever get. They hire special accountants to make sure they get all the tax breaks they can get. They would also take the food stamps if they qualified for it.
Recently got my EBT(food stamps) shit is a life saver! Don’t feel weird or ashamed about applying free food is the shit! Idc what others think, I be at the check out like “it’s on the ebt” like it’s a platinum credit card 😂 but fr foodstamps is the only reason I’m able to save some this month. If you’re eligible get them! That what the programs are for that’s why we pay taxes!

The financial talk was so real and hit hard. I am on 0 right now trying to change my live and move countries for better opportunities after a relative destroyed my credit and took loans on my name. It gave me great hope for the future tho hearing that cutie has come such a long way coming from a poor family etc. Holidays especially brings out the absolute weight having shitty finances take you over with. ;__;

Sorry for your loss. I knew a girl who's mother had died and she was the nicest girl ever. I was sortof a really geeky looking dude in highschool but she never saw me like that. She is to this day, though we don't talk, one of my greatest friends. She's one of the girls in my life who taught me that women are not so different from men and that they are not this strange unknowable creature.
As a member of the no mom club I snorted and laughed when she said this, love qt and how relatable she is lol
I just love it when they speak about non-scandal, non anything about genitals but about their past memories or opinions about anything like idk it hits different when they speak in a calm manner. And i think cutting off or speak louder than others was better after the first half of this episode.

QTs story about her sister and motherhood makes me realize a real core difference between todays parents and my parents. My parents had no qualms about shouting at the kids to sit down and shut up while they did their own stuff.
It really highlights how her sister is a good mom but that requires so much sacrifice.

I’ve already pissed you off probably but I think if you were to actually designate one person to be the host who can direct the conversation it would be a lot easier to listen to.
