Saw a vid about ace people (relevant to the will & hasan relationship thing), where there were people who explained their separation of their sexual attraction/preferences vs romantic. So, for example, in one of the poly relationships, a gay man was dating a woman who was bi or a lesbian, and one was ace. The man was only sexually attracted to men, but was romantically either demi, bi, or pan (been a while since I saw it). The woman did not want sex from him either, but did love him romantically as a person. They would kiss affectionately with a peck and that was it. She also dated women and he also dated men. I am aro, but not aroace, so I had never even considered the fact that there could potentially be a separation until that video, even though I completely understand both aro, ace, and aroace relationships. So what Will is talking about is not really a new thing, per se, just not something that is "common," if that is an appropriate word for it. A degree of an aro relationship where he is not completely romantically repulsed, or alloromantic and also ace with a man, while also having an aro (to some extent, or not, depends on him, the man would be his "primary" or other preferred word for main bond in the polycule) but allosexual relationship with one or more women is something that could be done and has been, I'm sure. Just basic bi/pan polyamory and ace with a main man is valid.
