True, but you forget, that Slovakia was part of Austro-Hungarian Kingdom and that castles was built by Slovaks people. Many of Austro-Hungarian nobility were originaly slovaks too. Main language was Latin, and German only after 1846 it was Hungarian. Austro-Hungarian kings was not originally Hungarians. They were mixed from Poland, Luxembourg etc etc. That is our history same as Hungarian, Austrian, Romanian, Croatian, Slovenian, Czech.... So wake up from that stupid dreams. It is interesting that only Hungarians crying about their history. What about Austrians, Germans, British, and other nations which lost lot of their land too and nobody cares now.
Come and visit Slovakia and enjoy our beautiful country with beautiful nature, castles and all heritage, have some good slovak food with slovak vine or beer.

Samuel Tomasik(Slovak) used this as the base for the Slovak Song ‘Hej, Slováci’ in 1834, later on becoming the Pan Slavic Anthem ‘Hej, Slaveni’ after 1848.
Slovak State (First Slovak Republic) used Hej Slováci as their anthem.
Tito’s Yugoslavia would also use Hej Slaveni as their anthem (unofficially)

Beautiful anthem! Reminds me of my youth and holidays with my then boyfriend that we used to spend in the Tatra mountains nearly every summer. The Slovakian brothers would always give us a really warm welcome and I always felt at home and relaxed while in Liptovsky Mikulas or Poprad. I recall hiking in Slovensky raj and we hiked nearly each trail except one and we promied to go back some time in the following years, but we never did... The anthem reminded me how much I love the Tatras.

Выступал наш Ансабль Александрова,было много техники,в том числе советской.
Были реконструкторы-словаки,с которыми завязался разговор.
Как-то ,подошли к вопросу войны НАТО/Россия. И знаете,что мне ответили Словаки? Не будут они воевать против России. И почему-то я им верю. К счастью,остались народы,помнящие свои корни,свое родство.
