Very cool, BUT... I do not understand why you dfidn't come up with something else, other than the static labels that says "mic, chat, hdmi, game" .. that should be a display or some other solution to change that.
BUt this looks really great.
I was already keeping an eye on the Bridge Cast. I am looking for a audio interface for streaming, video calls etc. Not many give the option to have different mixes.
Is there a way to upload mic effects? I bought this yesterday and the mic FX are meh and it would be cool if Roland had a store where you could buy certain voice files to upload into the software or simply included it in the membership
Please add a equalizer option for all audio channels (or at least a general equalizer). I currently use the game channel for all things (for games, spotify, youtube), except the windows sounds, and discord. My headphones (Sundara) need a little bit of tuning and I couldn"t get any other eq software to work together with the bridge cast
Is it possible to import other FX presets into the app or jsut what it already includes.
Is there any way to use it with webcams? It seems like manufacturers kinda forgetting about them. I have cameras but they are too chunky to use it on live streams.
So I no longer need Elgato HD60 S or HDMI converter? I use single PC for streaming PS5 and PC gaming
Hello dear Roland! I need your help, I want to understand in more detail the FP-90x I purchased. Is the doubling function on the built-in vocal processor essentially a harmonizer like the Fp-7F or does this effect serve a different function?
Only one HDMI capture.. damn Roland, you were so close to nailing this product. We obviously need to capture game AND camera.. now im just gonna use two capture cards and the audio interface i inherited from my brother. I want to give you my money but youre all like no i dont want it? Doesnt make sense.

Hi can you please assist me I have a pc with the elgato capture card however when I connect my bridge cast x on stream labs it doesn't link up like how it's set on my gaming pc I have a dual setup
Streamers and content creators have come to love sliders over knobs because it allows for easier adjustment on the fly, if Roland replaced the knobs with sliders then this would have been the ultimate game changer that could have replaced the Go XLR in it's entirety. I would love to review this product see if it works with the Elgato ecosystem and Sonar Steel Series eco system while on livestream.

Upon re-evaluating, I concur that sliders are space-consuming. Roland’s design, featuring sleek, easily adjustable knobs, reflects their well-established quality. In contrast, Yamaha’s current audio interface doesn’t quite match up, yet I remain interested in integrating my Elgato capture card. Remarkably, Roland has advanced beyond Elgato by enabling HDMI sound separation in their system, a functionality absent in Elgato’s Wavelink.
As a streamer on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, I value diverse content platforms, and Roland’s feature could be a significant boon for streamers and content creators. Cost-wise, it’s more affordable than the Rodecaster Pro 2 and nearly half the price of the GoXLR. While I use Steel Series Sonar for Streamers, their Windows application doesn’t support HDMI sound splitting for OBS adjustment. However, since the Sonar is compatible with various equipment, I’m eager to test its compatibility with Roland’s interface, especially since both offer tailored sound settings for popular games like Call of Duty. My plan is to run the Sonar alongside the audio interface, controlling everything from the interface and using an HDMI switch for easy console swapping.
While Elgato is launching new capture cards with HDMI 2.1, it’s unclear if Roland’s device supports this. Ideally, it should, especially for PS5 compatibility. An inclusion of a DisplayPort 1.4, which transmits faster than HDMI, would have been beneficial. They could have added this with an adapter for a modest price increase, offering a comprehensive solution for both HDMI and DisplayPort users. But at this point, I’m venturing into speculation.
So the Aux in can handle TRRS but no mention about whether there's mix/minus here?
Can you use this to switch between audio sources like PC/PS5/Xbox into one set of speakers or headphones without the OBS or streaming

What would you recommend for a streamer/ do i need to get the big one x
My priorities are:
1) Something that works with a shure sm7b
2) easy software
3) usb Cam elgato facecam pro
4) beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80 Ohm
I currently have a streamdeck xl too if that makes a difference.
What are the capture specs? The fact that this isn't covered front and center (after the audio capabilities) is concerning.
With most manufacturers now releasing or preparing to release 4k/120fps capture cards, anything less than that would be basically worthless. However an audio mixer WITH those capture capabilities would be STELLAR.
Something tells me that isn't what this is though, considering those specs were never even mentioned (a HUGE selling point).
So, I bought it... I am new to all of this. My review so far... Your support page has a quick start video option but no videos on this bridge cast x. Next, Music doesnt work for me. I put spotify's output to music(bridge cast x) and the music tries to come through but its broken up like if the audio was being chopped up on obs. You guys need a beginners guide on your page not just the promotion for it... Besides that I love the design and everything it can do again as a beginner I dont know anything about how its actually supposed to work but for someone who is starting his journey streaming It works pretty good (besides the music atm). Update as I was typing this i launched obs and all the audio is chopped up. even the games is super low without touching anything when it was working great the day prior besides the music. Really need this tutorial video of how to set up on obs and software wise like which output to what on single/duo pc, mobile, and console. I will be doing all of those. Make me not regret buying my first mixer. If you guys had a how to on all of this for the bridge cast x.
- Update: They reached out to my email about the audio thing... I'm a dumb ass and forgot I had filters on my mic/aux so all the filters were working agaisnt the bridge cast.

so how do i use the dual mix on streamlabs?
For some reason my bridge cast x is stuck on 640x480 on OBS. I can't figure out a solution, anyone know one? I've tried multiple different cables and have also tried changing the resolution on my PS5.
All of these companies are missing the mark when it comes to streaming i/o. You are trying to control and relay all audio between 4 things, a gaming pc/console, a streaming pc, headphones, and a xlr/usb mic. No usb mic input?

Roland I'm extremely confused by your product, I've received it twice now because the first one I got, I thought was defective. Turns out I'm wrong, there's something about your firmware updates that essentially makes the device unusable after downloading it. Whenever I power it on the only light that pops up is the power button and I can't press anything to make anything happen afterwards. Please help me, this's ridiculous.
So in other words. It's a more complete Streamer X right?

This is an interesting device. I have the original Bridge Cast that I've written reviews on. Until this can eliminate an Elgato 4k adapter it's a miss. Better options for this price point. They're trying to add features to this product so we can eliminate the need of other pieces of gear. Doesn't make sense when it's a downgrade of eliminated gear. I do think the original has been a nice option for the GoXLR and Vocaster folks. Now this jumping into the Rode and Elgato realm it would seem best to wait for version 2. Hopefully it's just a software limitation and not a hardware. If so, I'd think it's radar worthy.
Can i use this Xbox Series X?
Cannot play game over 60Hz in any resolution while capturing or streaming. I bought it, tested it during 6 hours. A real pain so set it to work the firs time while the HDMI setting are set to "INTERNAL DEFAULT" and signal is not accepted by the monitor over. You must use USB-C cable to change settings. Also sounds are limited to 5 seconds. Last thing, while updating it sys to replug USB cables as they are already plugged. In fact you must unplug power to reboot the Bridge Cast X. Really decieved , very poor capture specifications, i sent it back.

Dear roland, please pollish up your software app side of things it feels like you have just rushed it out and missed important features that should be standard in 2024. Such as, "vod track" add a vod track to allow us to route certain audio away from twitchs vod tracks, its 2024 this should be standard now in all audio mixers for content creators. Please create a proper routing table were uses can click select where audio goes to, you currently dont have this why not? Please also create an offical roland discord server for your users worldwide this is so needed. One more thing, please also add loudness equilisation to your audio drivers like having to turn the audio all the way up in certain games, having this option would eliminate that.

@@kalClutch912 honestly this is a really cool piece of equipment. Is it absolutely necessary to have initially? No. And it does take some extra shit to get everything connected to the PS5, but truthfully the only problems there is with this product is my lack of knowledge in audio routing,and I went to school for audio engineering so that should tell you something lol. Still 9/10 though imo
I decided just to get a capture card and the bridge cast…only because I want the option to capture higher resolution that 1080 if I ever wanted too.. but I believe using usb C I’ll be able to send the audio from ps5 to bridge cast and mix from there for my stream output…I appreciate you getting back with me
