Right. Grasping reality is just what reason does (at least when it's functioning properly)! A point I wish I'd thought of during the podcast: the concession that we can grasp *conceptual* knowledge through reason alone might be bigger than he supposes, especially if it turns out that a lot of important knowledge is conceptual.
