Many people will not resist orders to save their jobs, not just Hispanics in the military!
They’ll do what they do in all Tyrannies… they’ll go after people with family and use terror to move them to action.

I have much respect for Timothy Snyder. But my understanding is that Trump did get the popular majority of the vote in 2024.
He did win the popular vote but with a plurality (~49.5%) not a majority.
Trump got under 50%, that's the point.
I just added the votes among all candidates, he won by 304,116 votes across the states and territories. Yep, a win, a narrow win.
But not at the margins he claimed
