I'd rather have this ten times over the The Predator (2018) ever again. Sure it was just a rehash of the first Predator movie, but it was done very well, set in an interesting historical background, and took the threat of the Predator very seriously. If the rest of the franchise was just this formula, with different historical eras (imagine something in Feudal Japan, or ancient India, or WW2 even!) I would be content.
