He was cleaely referring to physical injuries; however, some people made comments that she will never fully recover. He added that his family lost a 3 year old to relate to the victims and to ensure that he understands the pain which one cannot fully recover. Law enforcement relating to victims is a beneficial and helps victims feel understood. Many get into this career bc of an event in their lives and their desire to protect others and seek justice. He is probably having a hard enough time, as they all are right now, and for him if it hits close to home. He was attempting to explain his earlier comments that she would make a full recovery. He was cleaely referring to physical injuries; however, some people made comments that she will never fully recover. He obviously felt bad that was misunderstood by a few folks and so he kindly cleared it up. He added that his family lost a 3 year old to relate to the victims and to ensure that he understands the pain which one cannot fully recover. Law enforcement relating to victims is a beneficial and helps victims feel understood. Many get into this career bc of an event in their lives and their desire to protect others and seek justice. He is probably having a hard enough time, as they all are right now, and for him if it hits close to home. There is nothing anyone can say to make things better in this case, and so we empathize and seek justice. I hope this helps to see it another way. Take care everyone! ❤
