Very nice video and explanation. An alternative way to reduce/remove undercut is to use a "shortened pitch" tool with a corresponding pressure angle. As long as the base pitch of the tool is the same as the gear being cut the gear will be cut correctly. So it is possible to use say a 17.5 or even a 14.5 degree PA tool cut a 20 PA gear IF the pitch has been "shortened" to match the same base pitch.
