i still think allen is better than marron, vs nova i sometimes use blaster blade, alfred uses 1 cb akane uses 1 so i didn´t have mutliple cb up most of the time so that marron could be better as allen in terms of reusability. plus allen is better if you have to call him behind the vanguard and is more flexible during blaster g2 turns because he can be an 11k attacker on his own. just my experience.
personally i would play wingal over morgana because vs nova i´d rather use blaster blades retire and combo that with +5k power from wingal, but since i have not tested this yet, i can´t really say much about this.
Still haven't wrapped my head around how big the numbers get in Standard!

Soul Saver is OP I used his ability twice and his total attack power after being boosted was 101k but somehow my opponent survived.
how does one even survive that?
MysteryDuels my opponent was using OTT and he had a ton of triggers in his hand.

Do you need to have 4 King of Kinghts Alfred and 4 Soul Savers? I am using 3 King of Knights Alfred, 3 Alfred Early and 2 Soul Saver. Is that a good grade 3 lineup?
I think the more Soul Savers you have the better, so it's best to try and work up to getting more copies - she's your main win con, and without her it's much harder to win games as consistently.
Will there be an OTT and a Kagero deck list? I like seeing these videos and want to see the rest of the set finished off.

This list is very similar to mine, the only difference between us is I run Gallatin over Jauron just because I value the 10k shield vs Tom and other OTT and Kagero units but then I feel that's a personal preference thing and I still love Jauron too (I'm just not a fan of Mithril tbh).
But once again this was a great video, keep them up!

Out of all the deck profiles that was shown, IMO Nova Grapple seems to be the best since it's a very aggressive type of deck. When it comes to budget decks tho, I think Royal Paladins take the cake with not only having some darn good cards, but the fact that you only need to adjust a few units here and there to make it competitive for those with low income. I've came up with a budget list, tho I'm probably gonna hold off till the booster set gets released and then show off what I would run. The goal is to keep it between $80-100, lets see if I can make it happen!
It turns out that in NA, you can buy 4x every Nova Grappler card including VR for $50!
DifferentFight Well hot damn, then I think NG may be the way to go as they're quite strong. Still, I think it's possible to have a budget RP deck when you include the cards from the Trial Deck, so I'm gonna stay tune since I know one of them would like to build one despite not having a buttload of money.
Anyway, great to hear this game being more budget friendly than G. Some people don't know how good they're having it right now (I spent almost $400 on Spike Brothers when I started out!)
I ponder if we'll see the return of 16 crit decks from way back in the day. I doubt it because with all these critical gaining skills they aren't as important (aside from in royal paladin as they have yet to get an extra critical skills aside from blaster blade) and the 20k guard from the heal triggers is often times pretty clutch. Plus draw trigger pgs.

I'm a bit curious to know where you're getting these lists of Japanese players using Morgana. While I have seen some topping lists use Lion Mane, I have yet to come across a list using Morgana.
Sorry i am new, noob question. I thought when you c blast, and get a heal trigger; if the only card(s) are faced down you dont get the heal trigger. Please clarify, a bit confuse
No no, when you get a heal trigger, the only condition is whether you have the same amount of damage as your opponent or more. Even if all your damage is face down and you have equal or more damage than your opponent, you can heal!
Sorry for late reply, was busy w/life demands. Thanks for the help! Really appreciate you, I actually have a few more noob question(s): Can you activate grade 2 effects in the back row? Are grade 2's able to boost? And I was watching a couple of the episodes for the anime and have a phase question: My understanding is guard step, drive check, then damage check. In terms of guard step is declared whether you block or not and say you do block the appropriate amount then the phase goes to drive check. Here is where I am confuse, drive check reveals a trigger (example), those that trigger be able to be applied to the current attack? and if so, is there piercing? Long message, sorry sir. Would appreciate the clarification, thanks!

What is the difference between a deck profile and a deck review ?
Deck previews are faster and less in depth, also done on Tabletop Simulator
Deck profiles are very in depth and after loads of testing with actual cards

The only thing I don't actually agree with is Jauron, I still feel like Mithril's search effect with Akane is super good synergy. You've sold me on wild mane though, that's definitely going in. Any thoughts on High Dog Breeder Seiren?
Not a big fan of Seiren :( I think Jauron is easily interchangeable, but that’s just the unit I decided on after my testing haha

Yo Different Fight I tried the build out
Very interesting to see morgana in the deck and might have to try it out and see how it is. Also with playtesting have you found yourself guarding a bit extra given how triggers give 10k now or does the extra shield value on some cards kind of help with that now? Really haven't heard much about but was just wondering.
It took me a while to adjust to new triggers but honestly by now it has become second nature already haha

Nope - but you can play for example 3 of the new one and 1 of the old one.
I've noticed that on the turn you ride into Alfred, you had Jauron attack before Alfred. This isn't the first time I've seen this kind of play done outside of Nova Grappler. Is there some strategic reason that you don't attack with the Vanguard first in Standard?
10k defensive triggers are devastating, and if I feel that I might crit them and they get 2 defensive triggers, then that shuts down my whole turn - so sometimes I go with those attack patterns instead.
Lets be realistic here, the extra crit of blaster blade was made just for aichi being able to win his first battle (plot armor).

yo, im a new player, so what are the "magic numbers" this format?
'Magic numbers' are a term used to refer to numbers that hit the opponent's Vanguard, asking for most efficient shield values!
For example, when attacking a 12k Vanguard, if you attack for 16k, you only ask 5k shield from them, but if it's 17k that you're attacking with then you're asking for 10k shield! So these magic numbers are basically increments of 5 against the opponent's Vanguard. In the current format it's good to be able to hit 17, 22, 27 etc. against Protect and Accel clans, but 18, 23, 28 etc. against Force clans, and Royals are capable of doing both right now!

We can also use charger which has a pretty good skill which gives it +10k power when I ride to my other grade three. I have included it in my deck so do you its viable? I would really like to hear some of your thoughts.
I think it's possible at 1-2 copies, but then you lose some consistency on your force markers, so it depends if you're willing to take the risk or not.
I did before, he's a nice attacker, but really ruins itself when you have to ride him. Really puts you in disadvantage not getting the gift marker
True. But i would rather g assist than ride him. Missing out on imaginary gifts can be a real bummer. I like to pair him up with stallion and it hits magical numbers most of the time. And since I try to ride to grade 3 every turn to get the force markers, it makes him a 23k attacker without even putting a gift marker under him. That's why I like to play him even though it's a risky move. And even if you have to ride him, you still get 10k buff, so its not that big a deal. Sometimes I ride him if i don't have alfred in my hand, just to get the soul ready for my soul saver next turn and end the game there and there but I prefer to attack him with soul saver only if my opponent is at 4 damage or more.

With G Assist, if you don't have the correct grade in your hand at the start of your ride phase in order to ride up, you can reveal your entire hand to your opponent. Then, after your opponent has confirmed the cards, you check the top 5 cards of your deck. If you find the correct grade that you were missing (let's say you were missing a Grade 3), you add that card to your hand, shuffle the rest of the remaining cards into your deck and then remove two cards from your hand from the entire game. Those cards are basically excluded from the rest of the match.
However, if you check the top 5 cards and are unable to find the correct grade, then you simply shuffle those 5 cards back into your deck and nothing happens, but you can do it again next turn if you still haven't managed to get the right grade to ride up.

Funelgal is way better than Jauron in my opinion you get the 5k and soul charge for soul saver
But you lose a counter blast plus pongal can soul charge soul saver just fine so no need for funelgal
