Hey, everyone! Huge thanks to everyone who has commented. I wanted to make a correction and give a warning to go alongside this video.
1. THE CORRECTION: The DJI actually DOES have up to 4X digital zoom, but lacks the 4K capabilities of the Mini 2. Thanks for the correction, @johndhead1
2. THE WARNING: If you live in the United States, the U.S. is becoming more and more strict on where you can fly drones. For example, I visited Laredo, Texas and you can't fly anywhere in that city without FAA permission, so be cognizant of this and check on your area to see where no fly zones are. 6:18 Actually, there IS a 4X digital zoom that can be accessed by pressing and holding down on the FN button and turning gimbal up\down wheel.

Happy you were able to get a DJI! 🚁 I’ve had/used a Mavic Mini 1 for years now & absolutely love it. (Minus all the times I crashed it & had to pay for repairs) 😅 But I definitely think DJI makes the best quality drones while not breaking the bank👌🏼

CO, lucky. im in CT. just got this drone 2 months ago and i just hit 38 miles. i did my TRUST test which is required. this is the basic model and you get what you get. this is so fun to use and got everything i want. i would like the mini 4 to use the goggles. but now the FAA says the bigger ones are going to need the remote ID. i seen some people fly out to 10k feet out before getting signal drop, i went out to the lake and i went out to 3700 feet before i got to 2 bars.

I’m from India. I saw your video it’s very useful. I have a one question bro, can we use dji mavic mini, dji mini 2 and dji mini se accessories for dji mini 2 se?
Thanks for watching! While some accessories like the Intelligent Flight Battery, Charging Display Base, Propeller Holder, Snap Adapter, DIY Creative Kit, and SD Cards are interchangeable, others aren't. For instance, the propellers and 360° Propeller Guards are model-specific. Also, the Mini 2's charging hub works for Mavic Mini's battery, but not the other way around. So, make sure to double-check compatibility before buying accessories for these drones!
That was my first drone. Then I got into FPV and the more expensive DJI stuff eventually getting my drone pilot license. So ya... I'm a pilot, no big deal.

@@EricJKuhns it means I just know the rules and can be held accountable for mistakes. I can also submit my FAA number to get licenses to fly in locked areas. And I can legally sell my services commercially.

You can't shake a stick at the price of the DJI mini 2 se, for all it has and does, but you will want to steer clear of branches🤣 The DJI mini 3 (bare bones Amazon) is twice ($609) the price, and they jump up in price over the $1000 mark from there. The mini 2 se does have (video) Digital zoom, 3x zoom is available while recording video in 2.7K. and 4x zoom is available while recording video in 1080p. One thing you mentioned as a PRO is that with the mini 2 se being under 250g. it doesn't have to be registered with the FAA. and that's only true if you're flying recreationally, if you're flying commercially you do have to register your drone regardless of its weight! Thank you for the great review and as I always say: Losing my drone in a tree isn't the worst thing to happen to me today, but it's still up their!
Bro i know your comment is 2 weeks old. I lost mine up a tree same time when i switched from looking at my phone/cam to looking up to get eyes on while holding stick foreward. stupid mistake. Was very wind 30mph gusts that day. It never Fell. Like 100+ feet up tallest tree in the area at the top. Tree has lots of squirrels on it though... checked it daily. 1 week later it was on the ground(not my yard, but a front yard thankfully) IT had rained once decently while it was stuck up there so i was unsure. Put it in a baggy of rice for 4 days, Shook all the rice out of the insides(oops) after taking it out the bag. charged it, swapped 2 propellors that had damage (only 2 of 8!?) and.... moment of truth.... it works still fine as can be, just had to recalibrate the gimbal.
@@StatusNull That is great to hear, I feel bad because that is something I say all the time as a joke, I have never lost my drone in a tree or elsewhere. You sir are brave I dont know that I would have had the guts to fly at that height with 30 mph winds, but yet the gods were with you that day.... Awesome. 🚁Fly Em If Ya got Em!
