OMGosh! I’ve a birthday ( way over fifty years old) coming up, wearing boots will add a less formal look, while wearing a classic dress. Thanks for the idea.
Love all of the tips. The idea to add one piece (tip #10) is new to me, so I plan to try that one and -- of course -- take an outfit picture when done.
You're always so right, Nada. I have been wearing fewer dresses lately and also noticing how they look frumpy on my 50 y.o. neighbour and what you said about dresses and pumps looking a bit "old/classic" is absolutely on point. You have great insights, thank you for sharing all your knowledge and experience, you really are the best! I like my knee-high boots to be quite fitted and "hug" my calf rather than those with a baggy shaft, that make me look shorter.
Happy Friday! Let's talk about styling clothes, not just wearing them! Which of these styling tips will you try? Also do you know that you can find many of my catalogs in one place! Check them all out here! nadamanley.com/shopping

Great video. I agree with you about a statement shoe. If I am wearing a classic outfit I will wear a "statement" shoe as you call it and I get a lot of compliments .
Thank you for the tip on belting a long cardigan to update it. I tried just that as I have various width belts including an animal print belt....looks great and I'll get a lot more use out of that cardigan over my heavier/winter leggings. (I am petite like you at 5ft 2in)
"Swap cardigans for jackets" is another great piece of advice. I'd rather invest in blazers, jackets or other piece of outerwear than a sweater, sometimes they are the same price and I've even seen a sweater in Cos for just under £300, beautiful but I can't justify spending on a sweater more than I spent on my gorgeous suede jacket. I have built up a great collection of blazers in the past year, I found that the Mango velvet blazers (in khaki and midnight blue) fitted me like a glove without needing any alterations to fit my very petite frame. It's not easy to find a blazer that fits your body perfectly when you are petite, and when I do, I buy them in multiple colours as it's such a relief to find them.
I brighten up my neutral outfits with scarves/neckties, I like modern designs rather than old-fashioned ones like the Hermes equestrian design, to me it looks way too classic. The most inexpensive neckties are bandanas, which I bought in various colours: red, blue, turquoise, I also have them in neutral colours: grey, khaki, pale yellow, etc. They cost just 99p in the UK, they're cotton and just the right size to tie around your neck keeping the knot at the front or the side.

Nada, you look amazing (and very young) in the jeans + cropped tweed blazer photo, and your booties are lovely too.
I love your content and how you speak quickly❤

Great tips. The only one I can’t do is any shoes with heels. I walk with a cane.

And 5:00 a.m. with 5 minutes to spare is not the time to do this.
