another good one, I recently got a stark power tank, basically the same thing but with a panasonic nozzle, its such a signature classic design, definitely a good collection piece. Took me two hours to get the motor out of it to clean and oil bearings though, what a bitch. That nozzle you have looks similar to a filter queen nozzle ive seen, maybe see if there's belts available for those. I believe the DD style 3 was for the little nozzle they used on the power pak can vacs - might work, but that nozzle is definitely bigger
Both of your Royal canisters have power nozzles that were made by Filter Queen. Your original non-headlight one was a 12 or 12.5" unit that came on various entry level Filter Queens along with various Royal canisters and some GE canisters. Your newest acquired one was a long time running Filter Queen power head that came with their $2000 Majestic systems up until 2003. It was considered their wide, 14" power head, though there is about 1" - 1.5" on either side of brush roll of dead metal base plate space. Filter Queen belts fit. Hoover Celebrity belts fit. I'll have to look at home, I think Hoover power head belt 38528-011 fits or 036, though they may be too wide. The FQ nozzles had a skinny belt.
@@Termite159 I realized this looking at a majestic the other day. Ironically I had just ordered filter queen belts as I was told they are a suitable replacement for Hoover powerdrive units. A 2 in 1 that worked out to be. Thank you for your info
That’s a steal for free! These power tanks regularly sell on eBay for $150-200
Nice royal
If you use the blower mode basically the only difference is you can’t change the motor speed but I’m pretty sure you can still use the power nozzle
