yes I'm finding just mach the front foil to the wave then. choose the best size wing is far nicer when your just a wave junkie . look forward to your next video drop
No, it surprisingly felt no slower than the 1050, and I could push it fast enough more easily. For our conditions, these bigger wings from the brands are really great for getting into the smaller , slower week waves we get and make an average day great .quite a lot of the time, it's 2ft to 3 and 15 to 20 mph winds, so going very fast is a no anyway .and the conditions are more a longboard or sup vibe type wave so super gliding connecting waves is a blast . Now I am really of the thought that sizing the front to the wave size a small fuse and stab and the smallest wing 🪽 you can get away with is key to uk smaller slop conditions. I DO, however, want a fast winter front wing still, but that will be autumn, something around 800cm2 to 900cm2 Aspect 8 to 9 . For big days . Take is easy bro good winds .
@grantmacdonald4838 I found the v2 fluid 42 to be a bit more glide and more stable as its longer if you want a bit more front foot pressure try moving your foil forward a bit 5cm at a time and make your stance smaller this helped me . Thanks for commenting hope this helps some Grant ,I wish you great winds speak soon
@grantmacdonald4838 the curve h is so good for glide and low end and so stable its still my wing of choice by far . V2 curve is great if you have solid waves with shape or curve h for lumps and bumps and windswell. I do have a veloce v3 on order so I'll make a video when it arrives
@@christomo I was mainly talking about the stabilizer since the Fluid H 42 is just a little unstable for me and seems to give up flying before the wing actually runs out of lift. If I get way back on the board it'll keep going just in a very unstable way. The V3 stuff is very interesting with the new Curve stabilizers looking almost like the V2 Sirius? I'm tempted by a Veloce HDW XL for a light wind wing, all we have is open ocean windswell. The HDW looks like it can actually turn while having a lot of glide. It might pair well with my V2 Fluid tail to loosen it up. Lots to mix and match with no way to try before you buy plus expensive shipping on small items.
Nice edit Chris, great to see everyone out and riding 🌊🏄♂️

I have a V2 Veloce H-L and Fluid V2 42, I really struggle with the lack of front foot support.
How would you conpare that stab to the ones you prefer?

@@christomo I find it very twitchy, especially in roll. Unfortunately I'm at the front of the foil box already.
Tempted to buy a V2 Curve L
