Don Airey started in 2001 with Deep Purple as an "substitute" in Jon Lord's very big footsteps and wasn't in the beginning really accepted. Simply underrated even he had played in bands like Black Sabbath, ELO or Whitesnake, only to name a few. But in all this years since 2001 with DP his style of playing keyboards gave the band his own keyboard sound without leaving the DP typical song roots. He never wanted to be a 2nd Jon Lord or copy its performing style. Don Airey is without any doubt a great musician and i really love his work on records and on stage. Sure, Jon Lord will never be forgotten, but so will also Don Airey! Thank you Simon for posting it here!
Bel hommage pour le Québec , Leonard Cohen et Gilles Vigneault , merci Mr.Airey ❤
