I saw Deep Purple in Birmingham in November this year and stayed around afterwards and saw don and roger glover. Don is one of the nicest people ever! Your well lucky to be related to him.
what's most impressive isn't the fact he can play the acutal songs but change from a song to a totally different song to song without hesitation and make it so naturally!
ohh my god...I've seen them yesterday in ravensburg (germany) and he also played this solo and it was unbelivebel....want to see them again soon^^ it was the damn best concert in my life....
@rodrigozamo I'm a little curiopus as to what kind of synthesizer you are playing. Are you playing a complicated synth with alot of waveforms? If that is so, I can recomend some other synthezisers that only contain the classic waveforms (wave, sine, square anmd triangle). The Microkorg, and microkorg XL and the Roland GAIA are two of the newest. You can also check out the Nord Lead, and the Moog Little Phatty (mind you that the Moog is only monophonic, which means you can't play chords).
the only reason i know who this great keyboard player is is from randy rhoads with ozzy back in 1980-1982 and hes wonderful playing crowley at the beginning
just a guy showing off some practice, no real constance or unity. he could use his hands for more noble purposes, as he usually does. piru-gluglu total!!!
i guess with that pompous stuff he does there...he tries to draw off the attention from what lord did... airey is great. no doubt...but what misses is his performance is the heart. it's all about showing technique. that's what airey does...

I'm a lifetime fan of Rick Wakeman (over 40 years) now I'm a Fan of Don Airey as well. Fantastic playing. Ken from Scotland

yes.. Don is doin' it great..
Don Airey is a legend !!!
Metaaaaaal !!!!
now that was awesome
airey was the best "padawan" of Lord
I saw Don at the Concert in Zurich this year. He`s really a worthy successor for John.
As I told him, only him could replace Jon Lord. he rocks, and he's a funny guy!

Great solo!
airey wrote and performed the keyboard intro to Mr Crowley originally!
Hes getting old, but hes still absolutely fantastic.
0:25 - 0:30 -> Mr. Crowley (Ozzy Osbourne)
2:37 -> Rondo Alla Turca (Mozart)
Amazing solo...

Awesome keyboard player. Love the belly at 1:25+
@rockingrugger it doesn t just remind you of, it IS and is supposed to be the begining of mr. crowley
fuck that was awesome. all due respect to guitarists, looking at this guy keyboardists deserve hell lot of love in rock.
@mazanylisak01 yeah, i realised that later. don airey did write the keyboards for that song in fact.
yeah he WAS.. but now is Don.. and that's that and everybody is happy
amazing
OMG! Don is a fking genius!
This was fucking great!!!
He is amazing :)
For those that critizase Don, you should close your mouths and just listen, there's no need to post stupid things, you probably can't play triangle.
I just saw them last night, they didn't play child in time....! But Airey's solo was awesome!
mi idolo
è il mio idolo
wwaaahoooooooooooooooooooooooO!!!!! :DDDDD
So cool!!
@rodrigozamo Well then, I'm glad I could help you out. Good Luck with everything mate.

@AgurkTomatGulerod Hehe..
wow
JON LORD DA BEST!
DEGNO SOSTITUTO DI JION LORD. GAVOLOSO COME JION HIEAAA
He cut that boogie short....the rock audience LOVES that stuff......should have made it last much longer
that's right.. i like Lord to.. But Airey is my favorite that's all
Such a really great keyboardist, but Deep Purple's man is Jon Lord and I'm not saying this only because he's my favourite keyboard player...
im wiright right :D
yes is the intro of mr crowley
Mr. Crowley?? o_O
beginning reminds me of mr. crowley..
thumbs up if it totaly just blows away mr. crowly...
mr crowley opening?
@rodrigozamo Saw, sqaure and triangle
the only reason i know who this great keyboard player is is from randy rhoads with ozzy back in 1980-1982 and hes wonderful playing crowley at the beginning
'Many of the Mark 3 songs are good, but not all of them...' : I agree with you, but you can tell it about MK II songs.
its mr crowley in the beginning
rofl, i love when he starts doing shit like Mr Crowley :D
2:36 ?
John Lord are the best now..................
@titusttiti: dont forget gillan
Yes. Deep Purple without Lord (and Blackmore) can't be Deep Purple. DP is Blackmore/Lord/Paice.
OMG;Wow; Such an amazing solo; May even be better than Keith Emerson :)
i know..i was just sayin crowley
yeah man its mr crowley............
Looks like Michael Palin
he has only imitate Jon Lords 1993 NEC Solo.
He can't replace John. He is very good player, but he don't belong to Deep Purple.
He imitate nothing you scumbag
Different style and different gear.
And lots of people adfirm that Rudess is the best! They don't hear this!
Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley. intro.
rick wakemanesque.
Ozzy Osbourne at the start :L
Why can't people learn to clap their hands on offbeat!?!??!?!?!?! DRives me nuts!
..al diavolo Giovanni Allevi!
.. Giovanni Allevi go to hell!!!
just a guy showing off some practice, no real constance or unity. he could use his hands for more noble purposes, as he usually does.
