I remember as a kid not being as savvy with deck building... I had more than a few duels end in 1-2 turns because I would brick and have a single basic 30 HP weak to whatever my opponent had and their move just so happens to either be able to KO through weakness or through weakness and a plus power. But yeah, a newer version if they decided to do 4 prize matches would end pretty quick... they should probably try and update the rules to make it a little more interesting for your opponent to attempt a come back rather than the lead player getting more advantage. Although from your videos about how people just naturally play fast in the Japanese game, maybe that wouldn't be feasible for them. Then again, the same sort of thing can happen in some singles battles in the regular games. I'm pretty sure that's why they do doubles for VGC.
