My treadmill is straight down in the back but in the top it leans to left. How can I get it straight even there? I have not done anything than adjust it in the back and it is not possible to do any adjustments in front.
Six years on... still a most valuable video. Thank you Jon
Excellent explanation! Thank you

Thank-you very much that very usefull for me
Glad it was helpful
What if the NordicTrack doesn’t have the Allen key ports situated as you are demonstrating? Our C600 has nothing like this at the back end of the treadmill.
Good question. I can't find mine. Is it a particular size we need. I also didn't get the second part. Are u twisting the same bolt u did to align the belt 🤔
Thank u.
Hi got a nordtrack treadmill everything is working but the belt isn't moving round it starts but it stops straight away and does nothing can you help
This was super helpful, and very well explained - thanks for posting!
So is there 2 different adjustments holes / where that tool goes into? If it's the same adjustment hole how did it affect when you fixed the uneven matt being centered?
Yes there are usually two adjusters. You can use either one to adjust the belt. They will have the opposite effect to each other on the running belt! Its hard to explain but if you watch the video again, it should make sense.
@@charteredengineer Thank you for replying . I am trying to figure out how to fix the uneven tread matt that was donated to me.

Hello, I have a similar problem. The belt is moving to the left on the front side of the treadmill. Should I move something from the front or try on the back
The belt should be running parallel to the sides of the treadmill and if so, you only need to adjust the rear adjusters to centre the belt. If it is not running parallel, then you can use the from adjuster to get it running parallel again but the front adjuster is not usually used to tension the belt or to centre it.
How to adjust belt which is seriously offset to the right - afraid it might buckle
Hi Ann - best way will be to completely loosen the belt and start from scratch. Loosen the rear roller. Move the belt centrally by hand. Check for damage on the adjusting screws, belt and deck. Then re-tighten. I can offer a video consultation at GBP49 if you need help. Best wishes, Jon
@@charteredengineer thanks for taking time to reply and yes please a video would be helpful. It is all new to me, and the manual is not very helpful. You say I should loosen the belt - can you explain that too. Very grateful for any help
@@charteredengineer Hi - oops, hope my reply reached you, but in case not, yes please a video would be really helpful, to include how I can loosen the belt to readjust belt manually. Very grateful for your help
@@annlaw194 no problem - please get in touch using jonisaacs26@gmail.com and we can work out details......

Thanks for the help. You explained it in a way that I could understand and then correctly adjust my treadmill.
Thanks so much for this, very helpful
Thanks John
Another great explanation, thanks Jon.
Much appreciated!
You provided clear instructions and it helped my problem. All the other videos kept saying "this way" or "that way" which is extremely unclear and unhelpful. Thank you!
